Doesn't seem that great. However, in contrast to other budget tablet options posted on ozbargains, it's not terrible (for the wifi version at least). I can't bring myself to vote on this either way.

    • old processor
    • presumably old OS (no mention of what version of Android speaks for itself - most likely 2.x or early)
    • presumably no differentiating features eg USB port or removable memory support
    • presumably negligible internal storage space (8Gb absolute max, probably even less)
    • no-name company (good luck getting, for example, official ICS upgrade or Cyanogen support)

Anyone want to take a gamble on things like battery life or screen resolution?

Not even remotely close to a good deal for the price.

    • agree

        3.5 hours usage is horrible

      • mini hdmi is cool. micro sd slot in the side instead of under the back of it is also neat. but agree with mattgal, 3.5 hr battery life is terrible (didn't notice that when I first checked the specs).

I didn't think android 2.3 was all that bad having had it on my nexus S, but after getting the OTA update to Icecream Sandwich over the weekend on my phone, I can see why people might be wanting at least honeycomb on a tablet…

  • I don't understand why people keep trying to sell their Craplets (also known as "C-Pad" C for Cheap, Crappy from China) after deals like Acer's Iconia tablet (HN) or the Acer Liquid MT mobile phone (JB-HIFI) at such high prices.
Ask $60 incl Express shipping, and I "might" be interested.

Its referred to as 'fishing for suckers'.

    • Agree. $50-60 for this craplet.

I would spend a few extra and get a kogan, better chance of long term support.

If you wanted to roll the dice on a no name el-cheapo spend $50 on the Big W

    http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/mobile-phones-internet/mo…

I know BigW not a like for like, but for a basic eReader, etc. may be better.

  • No Camera. Even Big W's cheapo tablet ($50) has one

Better than the Kogan 7" tablet at least.

Spec set is very basic, but just ok. You could do much, much worse, but price isn't quite compelling enough.
Description on website implies that access to proper Google Market is installed. If you're keen on buying I'd be very inclined to check that point …

  • as others have said, price is nothing but ordinary…

Have to compare oranges with oranges. Compared to products like the kogan tablet, this isn't bad. After all you get the warranty, support, etc.

agree - why compare a $400 tablet to a $200 one? then again galaxy s2 beats iphone 4s and is also half the price ;)
