Great thermos - I have a few different sizes. This one is only 350ml but good for smaller hot drinks.

  • Hand wash vessel only
  • Stays Dry: Sweat-proof insulation ensures a no-slip grip

  • How does this compare to say, bodum mugs?

    • +2

Have that Bodum mug. Excellent insulation and keeps drinks hot or cold for hours. Secures very well although the labelling makes it clear that it should be kept upright as it is not guaranteed leak proof for safety reasons to prevent over pressurisation.

The main difference between the Bodum and this Camelbak is in the lid design. Bodum is tough to open and close for drinking and only has one drink opening still works very well for travel. The Camelbak has a unique variable twist opening that is easy to use and allows drinking from any side of the cup which is pretty handy in the dark or when driving - replacement caps available if yours fails.

Both are excellent at keeping drinks hot and cold and perfect for travelling imho.

The Camelbak in Cobalt is still available at Amazon.com.au for $17.60 delivered for Aus prime members:

Who finds 300ml is enough? I find anything less than 500ml isn't worth carrying if hydration is something you care about. Maybe hot soup in winter?

    • More suited for short commutes and working at your desk I think.

      • Fair enough. I have the 1L version at my desk so I the only reason I have to get up is to the rest room :)

  • 330-400ml is great. I pour my beer into them.

Jet black is also the same price sold through Amazon AU

Good size for coffee and holds temperature well, but I don't like the design of the lid.
Pro: the lid is 360 so can drink from any side
Con: because of how the lid is designed, you have to tilt your flask quite high. Annoying when drinking the coffee while driving.

I think I've seen you driving whilst drinking your coffee!
