Haven't purchased, since I don't need one, but it lets me add one to the card and checkout.

JB hifi show $6.99 estimate delivery for me in cart ( this may disappear at checkout)

      H N shows $7.99 delivery

May be able to use MS price to get free delivery on these deals

You can also add-on the Seagate Storage Expansion card (1TB) to your purchase for $296.65. It works out slightly cheaper than buying from JB HIFI or Gerry for $359
    .

It's stupid to pay $499 plus $296.65 for a series s. You mines as well pay the $750 for the series X and get a more powerful system plus the 1terabyte SSD. Stupid MS. And they wonder why the system don't sell well.

Thanks for saving me writing this ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Ooh nice looks like you can pay with Microsoft balance, which can be acquired at a discount, bobs your uncle new weak Xbox ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘

    • +1

      Is there a discount atm?

      • +1

You can get discounted xbox/microsoft credit through various ways. I think racq/suncorp rewards and maybe also cashback sites.

Looking forward to picking one of these up when they're being cleared for $199

If they dropped these $100 theyโ€™d sell out, the 500gb is the killer for $499 if they had 1Tb they be amazing, I got the series X just because of the drive size as Iโ€™m sure many did

Trouble past performance shows they have sold out at a high price albeit to scalpers(-bay markups), gotta have this Xmas/ holiday period families or people who only need interim upgrade/spend the difference on games till series X unit drops in an xchange deal/bundle or both.

Being able to buy Now! And Play is a bargain of a different kind for some.

10 Feb will be 3 months since release and may then signal some real deals.

Center your design skills around 360. Creste the 720 and Boom.mmm I would finally be dumb enough to buy an xboc

    Garbage console.

  • You can buy 3 months of Xbox Live Gold for $17.95 as part of this deal (looks like one 3 month subscription per customer).

Note: you can still convert it to Ultimate on a 1:1 basis, but only after your current Ultimate or Game Pass runs out, and only if you have auto-recharge turned off.

For those that got the AMEX deal:
    Spend $400 Get $80 Back @Microsoft
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/621040

I've done it and it works.

(Don't forget CashRewards for an additional $6.80 off.)

    • Also works for the Xbox Series X ($670 after $80 back), with the caveat being when it's in stock.

      • Yeah, Series X is rarely in stock, Series S has not gone out since I purchased it.

        • As far as I know the Series X has not been in stock in the Microsoft store since ~January 12th 2021.

    • As per the other thread there's currently increased trade-in values for Xbox Ones as well - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/b/microsoft-trade-in - should be $200+ in most cases.

      • So can I buy first then trade in console?

$400-$225 seems like a decent deal, my current Xbox is the One S 1TB

Not sure how I'd play my blurays and 4k discs after that though

    • buy gift cards if you have multiple amex cards I said that a lot of times, and they donโ€™t have expiry dates

      • You mean a $400+ gift card? What do you normally spend it on? Xbox gamepass subs or like actual hardware from MS?
