Very important omission from the title and description: "Without battery"

  • Hmm. Doesn't appear to be brushless. Doesn't look like a super deal really. Also I got a dcg406p1 dewalt brushless 125mm grinder, 5ah battery and charge for $150 on clearance yesterday at bunnings.

    • Which bunnings pls?

      • Rouse Hill NSW. None left. It was the last one. Was on clearance for $199, shop worker took another $50 off for being the last one. Other stores maybe also be clearing it out.

        • Thank you

    • That's an epic deal. Congrats.

  • I would recommend first checking your local Bunnings for the $199 Bosch Blue grinder on clearance for $150. There's at least one in Toowoomba West. I think it's this one.
Unfortunately I don't think either are brushless.

Isn't this the cheapo Bosch range? Definitely not a deal

  • The Bosch Power4All system is very basic and their retail options are comparatively limited (only Mitre 10 stock the AdvancedOrbit which is more expensive than equivalents?). I bought a drill/driver combo and have found $ for $ much of their stuff is sub par. The UNIVERSALLAMP is weak compared to others.

    • I run two systems, Bosch and Ryobi. The Bosch (green) stuff seems better but, as you mention, has a smaller range devices and fewer stores stock them now.

Bosch Blue is the way to go, most Bosch Green is junk imho.

unfortunately blue attracts a price premium and discounts are few and far between.

      • worth the coin though. Proper trade quality tools.
