This should not be allowed to sell on Australian market. This is dangerous to use on ear. I bought one last time and I could not find courage to enter that solid metal thing in my ear. DO NOT BUY
While I can't speak for others, but my family and myself have been using something like this for decades. You can't compare this to a cotton tip as the tip of this is significantly smaller than a cotton tip and therefore doesn't have the problem of pushing the ear wax inwards like a cotton tip.
Of course, you must be sensible to not push it too deep (so this is not something a kid should do by themselves). It's like picking your nose, you would know when to stop even though your finger is too long for your nostril's depth. Just because you're picking your nose with your fingers, you wouldn't stick your whole finger in, right?
As someone who's been using it for more than 30 yrs, it is like scratching your inner ear and is deeply satisfying.
These things are dangerous.NEVER stick anything in your ear smaller than your little finger.
