Funniest thing was when I read Choice rate previous model better than these. Can’t believe it is true but makes me wonder if worth extra money.
Still bargain compared to the Apple ones.
Why would anyone want choice magazine’s opinion on headphones?
I still prefer the XM3 because of AptX which I use with my PS5 and Switch.
Just my 2c if you're chasing the best deal on headphones and not a deal on XM4s… You might be better suited to get some reduced XM3s.
My experience listening to the XM3 and XM4 side by side was that… Neither was better, the XM3 was just a tad bassier.
Maybe the ANC is better on the XM4, I know the option to switch between connected devices on them is pretty good, but anecdotally I've seen a few reviews indicative of the battery being worse too.
I honestly have no difference in terms of battery life when one is connected to one device versus for two devices.
At this price you're still better off getting an XM3
I bought it for $293 delivered from catch with discounted gift cards if someone wants to take that path.
