If you need an unlocked Nokia 2.3, you could get it for $128 from officeworks, see https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/600210

Yeah, OW and Amazon are cheaper after factoring in the unlocking cost from Telstra.

    • Nobody who wants a $100 phone is wanting to pay top dollar for monthly fees. How is this possibly a bargain compared to $128 unlocked?

Thanks wenbin for the link. Good value there!

  • can we do unlock phone on ebay ?is cheaper to unlock ?

I thought it was $10 - wishful thinking

    • Keep waiting. This phone has been on continual discount at WW and Coles. There must be a stack of them. If you can, have a look at a box and check the expiry date.

  • Should be able to get $10 cashback from cashrewards.

  • Good for a Burner phone/second number? If I sign up the pre paid, Would this effect me porting out from Voda to Telstra in the Future??

  • ref Network Support 5G? i dont think so its an error.

    • Read again.

      Network Support 5G … … … … No

  • Have one of these, painfully slow with next to no apps installed/running. You get what you pay for, apparently.

    • So when you call, it goes like this; Hiiiii, whhhaaaattt haaaavvee youuuuuuuu

      • More or less. Jokes, obviously, but it often takes 5 sec after a tap just for the stock phone app to open.

        • Got one of these for my Mum when they were first released. Updates take forever to load and apps are slow to open. MMS doesn't work but data works fine. Apparently this is a thing with this phone if you are on Aldi Mobile.

  • Shame that Android Go thing didn't take off. Would've been perfect for a phone like this (If done right, ofc)

I tried Android Go. But those 1GB phones that could not run regular Android were still not much good on Go.
Google should have just 'fessed up that their bloated Play Services needed 2GB minimum. Is it really that much to ask?
