    because Apple has discovered that the more expensive you make something, the more people want it. iPhones used to be in the $850 range… now they're double that or more, and Apple is selling more than ever.

    But yeah, I wouldn't ever consider paying $800 for a pair of headphones. That's just crazy money. At least an iPhone gives you a LOT of functionality throughout your whole life… a pair of headphones, no matter how good they are, are a one trick pony.

  Use every day for 2-3 years straight you can get value out of these. For me its the cost per use. i wouldent get the value from it but can see how others might.
