Awesome watch in my experience, now cheaper than ever according to the camels.

About this item
* GPS smartwatch with music storage and playback
* Easily download up to 500 songs on your watch, and connect with headphones enabled with Bluetooth technology (sold separately) for phone-free listening
* Garmin Pay contactless payment solution (available for supported cards from participating banks) lets you make convenient payments with your watch, so you can leave your cash and cards at home
* Customize with thousands of free watch faces, apps and more from our Connect IQ store
* More than 15 preloaded sports apps, including yoga, running, swimming, strength training and many more; use preloaded workouts, or create and download custom ones.

I've been using one for the past 18 months or so. Not just for fitness activities (handles running/cycling very well), but great for listening to audiobooks/podcasts at any time (I carry a cheapo wireless earphone just for this purpose).

  • Very old tech. Pay a bit more for Vivoactive 4.

I bought this second hand last month for $100. This is not a deal. Great watch though

  • I've not had a good experience with the Vivoactive series, moved to fenix and picked up the 5 on sale for under $500

  • Had mine for 18 months - still going strong. Bought back then for $320.

  • Is this the watch where you DON'T need Spotify? Just load MP3 onto it?

    • +1

Yep you can drag and drop your mp3 files across.

    • The process to get and select songs when using local MP3 files is not very user friendly.

The process of using Spotify and syncing playlists on the other hand is very seamless and easy to do.

Just an FYI based on personal experience :)

  • Does anyone know what are the risks of buying from Amazon US? Do you get the same protection as if buying from Amazon AU?

    • +1

Yes you do…. just sent back a Jabra :)
