Found in Chatswood Place ALDI (NSW). 2.4L Marella jug with extra filter $24.99. Cheaper than Woolworths and Coles (both $33).
Possibly in other ALDIs as well.

  I have never heard it called Chatswood Place before - I always call it "The Mix". But when I went to find out where that was, there is a big sign on the front that says it.

          @capslock janitor: Because that is what they call it - if you google either "The Mix" or "Chatswood Place" the page you get is titled "The Mix". They brand it on their webpage as "The Mix at Chatswood Place".

          If you search for Aldi Chatswood it comes up as "Aldi - The Mix".

          All of their marketing material and advertising leads with "The Mix".

          BTW - I don't know what "Signed up" means.

  Pardon my complete ignorance when it comes to brita filters.
  I would like to hear someone's opinion on why this would be far better than drinking tap water from a regular jug.

    Depending on where you live, the tap water can taste funny. Wouldn't want to be drinking it in Adelaide when the Murray-Darling runs dry and then starts flowing again, for example.
