    wow, no numpad?

    • +12

Yes, that is exactly what TKL (ten-key-less) is. :)

      • any advantages of TKL keyboards? How do people survive using this if they use excel spreadsheets alot?

        • +5

Some say it's more comfortable as the mouse is closer to you. Purchase a TKL and a full size keyboard and swap them around or a dedicated numpad

        • It's for people who don't care about numpads, particularly those who use this purely for playing games.

There is also a full sized version of this, so gamer excel nerds can do both.

This one is the ten keyless model (no num pad) but there's a full size variant. Looks like that is on sale too depending on what type of switch you're looking for.

      • I bought the G613 not too long ago and I'm pretty happy with it. Paying an extra $100 for RGB seems a bit absurd

        • i also had the 613 and have upgraded to 915. you are not only getting the RGB, the feel of the keys are also very different.

          • @blackpizza: I paid $118 for G613 so I'm pretty happy with it and no need to pay extra $200 to upgrade to 915

I bought the keychron k4 recently and returned it for the k1.

I use the numpad for work every day and lost productivity with the k4. The 0 key is half the size I’m used to and the key spacing is too close for me.

The k1 is going well, smaller key switches but the spacing is nice and full size too.

Cost wise Amazon about $150. Includes RGB and aluminium case. Bluetooth to 3 devices.

    10keyless options with keychron too.

Edit: I’m coming from a G613 as it had repeating keys…

    • I AM TRYING to find, the G613 version of this, something not to crazy expensive, with a G wireless dongle.

I dont want wirless via BT, since i play a bit of valorant. I can't deal with wired stuff LOL

Was hoping the Keychron was wireless dongle..

    • I bought a K4 as well just for the numpad to replace my pok3r when doing work, liked keychron so much I got their K3 through kickstarter too.

  • Logi makes such amazing mice but tries too hard on their keyboards. It's not that hard to see that the mech keyboard paradigm is about simplicity, quality, backlighting, and shit like custom artisan keycaps. Instead they add naff media-player buttons on top or something like its 1999.

Instead they add naff media-player buttons on top or something like its 1999.

This was one of the main reasons why I purchased this keyboard, it's nice to be able to control media when gaming etc.

Interesting, because these were the reasons I bought a G915 TKL. I wanted dedicated media keys without the need to mess around with FN keys, and a volume rocker.

Still crazy expensive for a keyboard in my opinion.

  • Bought the 815 (wired version) tenkey near new and love it. Hard to justify these prices though.

I think is absolutely the best keyboard I have had, the TKL being great to get a more ergonomic placement of the mouse. The keys feel really great, the keyboard is so thin it looks like it is built into the desk. Just overall a great keyboard to type on. I previously had Das KB, Bella, Strix and others and this is my ideal keyboard.

100% agreed. Best keyboard I've ever owned 👍

I paid premium for my in white but I do love it and wouldn't go back to normal keyboard anymore
these also great if you need to connect via bluetooth on another device

I bought the full size version about 3 months ago - probably the best keyboard I've ever used. I have the Tactile switches, and it's really nice to type on.
Oddly enough, I bought it mainly because of the fact it has both Bluetooth and Wireless USB Dongle - but very quickly found it to be a joy to type on. It was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

  • Looking at buying the Logitech G915 (with low profile GL Linear switches) to replace my Corsair K70 LUX RGB and am happy I stumbled onto this topic.

I'll be approaching JB Hi-Fi to price match the offer at Umart more for convenience and a closer store than anything else. Has anyone found one cheaper?
