I did price beat last sale at Bunnings 10% off. Have yet to install it tho

    • +1

Yeah i was going to do that but the next day Bunnings reduced their price to $198 the dodgy pricks. Basically to stop all the price beats.

Their site has it back to $199 so i could try again tomorrow before they realise.

Do they price beat Amazon though?

      • Yes they doo

        • Called my local bunnings and they dont price beat special order products and it has to be a product you can go buy right away (unlike Amazon) so guess its a no go :(

      • I guarantee they monitor this forum

        • I doubt it. All the price-beats that occur at individual Bunnings stores probably go into a central database once you transact, so they can then act quickly to reduce prices if/when there are too many price-beats on particular items.

          • @ttam87: Does Bunnings price beat when its the same price as a competitor?

    • Got mine installed by licenced electrician through Airtasker for 110$

  • I think they have a new version coming out.

    • I don't think so, it's been going up and down for a while…

        • I don't see that in my app (Android). Yeah, looks like another version in the photo…

          • @KB57: Wondering if I should purchase now or wait for this version?

            • +1

@Inthemix: Then you wait for a price drop and by that time the next new version is coming…

This does the job and does it pretty good, price is good too, I bought one myself.

              • @KB57: Actually just looked at mine and the current ones look like that when they are switched off, all of the photos show them switched on lol.
No new one coming out anytime soon
                Look at this picture
                https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/354528/86862/screen_sh…
Anyway I am really happy with mine and the brightness is amazing and so is the quality, Doubt it would drop much more
It has an all metal construction which is much better than others in the market
EDIT: looks like your one is rounded and these are not, don't think they are updating soon as this one looks much more modern and cleaner

Did ya ask OW staff to apply staff discount

  • paid $239 last year, very good floodlight and camera, the camera is even better than reolink, imo

    • How is the human detection working. reviews are not great.

      • It detects anything moving, humans, birds but not the insects

    • Well its good but …, I have eufy flood light cam, Reolink Argus 2, ReoLink Lumus , And I can say for sure that Lumus is the best in terms of camera quality. Argus 2 comes second & eufy camera is just not that good, its image is like the Swann IP cam I bought in 2016 like you can see lots of artefacts. Wating for Argus 3 at the moment

  • Reviews are pretty so so. Anyone else have any experience with these?

    • Yep friend has them, pretty good and work well and gives you notifications

    • I have one, very happy with it 2 months in.

    • I have it and it's great. Good light, great camera. Works with Google assistant ie "Show me the backyard camera" Awesome at this price

    • +1 had one for few months, no complaints whatsoever

All Eufy security devices are better than competition. I have the doorbell, and 2 2c cams. They have local storage and no subscription. But you can get cloud storage if you want…

  • Question for those who have one - can the camera housing section rotate/adjust or is it a fixed position? I don't mean automatically, I mean like with the standard Eufy cams can I adjust it during installation then tighten it at a particular angle to better cover my gate?

    • +1

      Yep, it's adjustable

      • Thanks mate!

Does this require a base station to work like its siblings camera/doorbell?

    • No base station needed

  • Is there enough room for the camera and lights to be properly installed under the eave?

    • +1

Mine is mounted under the eave, Took quite a bit of adjustment but yes there is enough room

  • Anyone can recommend something like this but with solar?

    • Solar can't collect enough power to run a security camera.

    • +1

      Reolink Argus family

  • Black color gone

  • Is this for taking pictures of food ?

price match at office works, it is still 297, or try SCA

  • This one or Ring floodlight, any thoughts…

  • If I have an existing light outside (your standard down light) would this be easy to install? Or still need to air task someone?

    • better pay for an electrician to have it done properly

  • What is the colour temperature of the lights? Or are these adjustable? Really interested because of the camera.

    • They'd be around 4500-5K, bit hard to tell but they're very bright

  • Very happy owner of this camera after owning it for a couple of months. Mounted it horizontally under eave.

Can adjust sensitivity levels etc so it doesn't pick up small movements like branches moving due to wind etc.

  • Does Bunnings price beat by 10% when competitor is same price or does it need to be lower than theirs?

update - Called Bunnings and they will beat if smae price but not on special orders or online

  • Damn it. I literally bought one from Amazon a week ago for the full price..

  • Would OW price beat this from Bunnings and not add delivery to price beat?

  • Went into Officeworks today and they price beat Bunnings price without adding the delivery fee. In total I got it for $189, great deal. Thanks OP for sharing this deal!

    • Which OW did you get it priced matched at if you dont mind me asking?
