600m2 with a 2Ah battery… it will probably take 5-6 charging cycles to finish the job

Couldn’t use it at the front either. Stolen in a heartbeat

I always wondered how that will work. Might have to get the banana lounge and watch it. Hard work that…

Maybe it has a "Scream likea little girl" feature when picked up.

I think it will be rather be a land filler rather than a lawn mower..

    • I mean if you ask for it's opinion it might not wanna go in the tip

"A global supplier of OEM/ODM garden tools, manufacturing for well known international brands. Offer great price for a high quality machine and after-sales service comes from an Australian distributor called Redback swift for over 50 years."

Googling "Redback Swift" it seems there is no such company in Australia???

Then on the store front it says:
"When you buy from us, you are dealing directly with the factory, so you will get a great price for a high quality machine. Our after-sales service comes directly from the factory, so we have full coverage of spare parts and detailed knowledge of the machine."

So is the 2 year warranty through the non-existent Australian Distributer "Redback Swift" ? or direct with the factory in China?

I assume as with most crap like this there will be no warranty or support once the Paypal protection runs out ;)

    • Good work Columbo

I have never heard of them either..

      • Are you associated with the seller or service company?, it appears you might be a shill for them ?

A real company name would be nice, it seems there isn't a company registered in Australia with the name "Redback swift"…

Amazon reviews by verified purchasers from UK

I ordered this and started to get worried about the quality when I tried to lay out the cable. It claims to cut 600 sqm. but the amount of cable supplied would do 400 sqm. And that's if you don't run extra to avoid trees and the like. I could have bought extra cable and joined it up but the next warning came when I tried to build it's little garage/charging point. The holes didn't line up for the roof. I could have drilled holes and made it fit but by then my spidey senses were tingling so I boxed it back up and arranged a return.

    and

Works OK took a while to get boundry wire in the right place mainly the shape of our garden which caused our problems overall satisfied only dissapointment is that it does not cut nearer the edge have to get mower out to cut the edge it leaves otherwise brilliant

  • It's always fun driving past the gardeners on the M1 playing with their robotic lawn mowers.

  • Flower power have some on display
Might be worth paying the extra bucks

      • Buying locally might save you heaps if headache in this case

    Doesn't look too promising.

On a side note, I once lost a client to a robot mower..

For about 2 weeks, then they called me back because they ran over it whilst reversing their car lmao.
