Most important things from T&Cs:

  1. “Eligible Customers” means Customers who:
    Have signed up to a free trial of eBay Plus between 10:00 (AEDT) 11 February 2021 and the earlier of 23:59 (AEDT) 12 February 2021 or until sold out; and
    receive an email from eBay inviting them to redeem the Coupon code TPLUSPODSZ
  2. “Eligible Item” means Apple Airpod item number 123932436002.

    How sucky, that it's only for people who signed up for the free trial of eBay Plus, not actual paying eBay Plus customers. The motive is fairly transparent… they want to convert from trial to paid by demonstrating how awesome their membership is going to be…

      Same, seems it truly is randomly targeted. I signed up to eBay Plus this morning but the code didn't work.
