Found this 365 day deal when I went to recharge with Kogan and saw their small deal had returned to $160.

Most will dislike Vodafone but I find their coverage in my area is better than Optus and Telstra strangely enough.

Discounted $200 price and 90GB bonus data offers expire 17/3/2021.

  • where's this $50 cashback from, can you please link in original post?

    • +2

I assume they're talking about Cashrewards which lists 25% for Vodafone sims. Although this doesn't apply to 365 days sims so cash back of $50 is not possible in this case.

  • What does possible cashback mean lol

    • Shopback/Cashrewards are offering 25% cash back on "Prepaid SIM Card & Starter Pack", however I'm assuming OP said "possible" as cashback sometimes approves/declines

Yep but both CR and SB state that 365 day plus prepaid plans aren't eligible.

        • From CR,

Cashback is ineligible on recharges, SIM starter packs with multiple pre-loaded recharges, upgrade services, Business Flex products, Prepaid 365 Plus plan, handset repayments, or any other plan not listed in the schedule of rates on this page.

  • Does it come with unlimited international calls ?

Happy with my $30 120g catch deal.

  • I'm not going to neg but at the same time this really isn't that great of a deal. $200 for 240GB data is fine but there are other better offers around. For around the same price and also on Vodafone's network Kogan offers $265 for 250GB but this comes with $65 credit to spend shopping on Kogan.com and you get 10GB more data.

Also you can get Boost sims (runs on full Telstra) for $240 with 328GB data and a lot more international mins/texts.

    • Thats true. I am a light user on data even 100gb is more than enough for me and I also rarely use Kogan to purchase anything which makes Kogan credit not worth much to me.

In the end to each their own. I'm a bit bummed I missed that the 365 is specifically excluded from cashback but hey life goes on and ill make better decisions next year

  • The Lebara sim deal which was $180 included the same amount of data and also runs on Vodafone the only advantage you get on this deal is VoLTE and Wifi calling which might be worth the extra 20 dollars for some.

  • With 5G connectivity, wifi calling and VoIP, I think its a good deal but will be better if some international calls were allowed.
I have found vodafone getting better after takeover by TPG.

  • I've got $84 cashback pending on my $200 purchase, so if it comes through, this deal only cost $116 for 240GB 365 days. Awesome :)

    • Doubtful cashback will be successful as CB site says 'Cashback is ineligible on recharges, SIM starter packs with multiple pre-loaded recharges, upgrade services, Business Flex products, Prepaid 365 Plus plan, handset repayments, or any other plan not listed in the schedule of rates on this page.'
