Remember to remove the battery as they don't like being squished by opening doors if someone is scared of mouses.
Remember, this is unsuitable if you live with an indoor cat.

I actually bought it for the USB dongle cause my one stopped working.
The dongles are hard coded, how does it work with another mouse?
It doesn't.
If its a universal Logitech receiver then it can be remapped
@ozbagends: This M171 is not a unifying mouse. Seems to be a different 2.4 GHz receiver.

I have a few Logitech dongles and they seem to work with other Logitech mouses, including Logitech OEM mouses. They do not work with the one non Logitech mouse I have.

This is actually a great mouse, I use it regularly.
Even though I bought one, I'd seriously doubt that. It doesn't even have function for side scrow to go back and forth on a website.

Should work with a C-to-A adaptor but you'd be better off with a Bluetooth mouse.
I like the logitech M337, I managed to pick one up for $25.
iPad supports USB mice. Don't see why this wouldn't work with a USB-A to USB-C adaptor.
These are insanely tiny. My hands are average size and this is real tough to use.

How does this compare to M185 wireless which I also got for $5 from JB-HI-FI last year - are the clicky louder or similar? If it on sale next time I'll grab a spare if that is the case.
These can also be used as a door stop for when you are not using your mouse…
