just in time for post valentines offer… good for people who needs to get rid of gifts from their ex by the load!

  • What’s the rough split between actual waste disposal and all other costs (physical skip, labour etc)?
Always been shocked at the cost to hire a skip: and have come to the conclusion it’s either a very lucrative business, or more likely - expensive to dispose of the waste. Do all skip providers need accreditation to show that they are disposing of the waste legally?

    • Brilliant question @ tuttle. It's the latter - very expensive to dispose of the waste. With government EPA levy increase every year, disposal cost increases annually. Re: legal disposal, you are spot on, that there is an immense amount of illegal dumping, hence EPA has an article on their website to warn consumers that if skip bins are too heap to be true, it's likely that operators dispose illegally of the waste. In our case - we operate a Waste Transfer Station, where each bin is separated and waste is sorted and is then taken to further recycling centres, depending on a waste type. Feel free to call our office should you require any further info.

It's $100 cheaper at skipbinsonline.com.au for 3 cubic metre of general waste, drop off Friday, pick up Monday.

I'm not afiliated, just used SBO a few times and they're always heaps cheaper than any other quotes.

    • Did same and much cheaper else where
