FYI , Happy to hear lot of people get to see the movie and was not aware when it was getting released. as it's one of the most anticipated release on Amazon for lot of Malayali Fans in Australia.

Drishyam 2 is a sequel to very popular South Indian movie Drishyam. First movie was a critical and commercial success. This was remade in India pretty much on 7 different languages and one of the first movies to get an official remake in China. Official talks in for remake in Hollywood for original.

Drishyam became the second film to complete 100 days in the UAE after Titanic (1997) and later emerged as the longest running film in the UAE by completing 125 days, beating the 110 days run of Titanic.”

        You shouldn't be seeing any of those deals in New Deals. You shouldn't be seeing any of those deals on the front page if you have selected Front Page-New.

          Thanks for the link. Seems the results of the vote decided the majority don't want the posts on the site. The vote was also for Xbox games. I think you'll find even less people would vote yes for movies, considering movies are worth less than a video game, especially the B grade stuff that gets posted on streaming services.

    I agree this is not a deal and so is this other post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/605814 and may be few others. All those who are commenting this is not a deal, why not do the same with the other one? Why only pick on this one and some even stated that this post is a cultural promotion. So any posts for English movies is not cultural but anything else is?

          Pakistanis and Indians speak different languages. Hindi is main language in India. Urdu in Pakistan. The movie in question is in Malayalam. Targeted audience is South Indians, means Indians who speak Hindi will not watch it unless they want to go by Sub titles.Still it managed to do very well breaking record back in 2013.

          According to this, population of Indians in UAE is still under 30% . No way near as 80% as you claimed before.

          You are mistaken when you say Pakistanis and Indians can mutually understand each other. Pakistanis can understand the language form Northern India, and people from North India can understand Urdu. However, the language of the movie in question here is Malayalam which lot of people from India can not understand either. People from India speak different language in different states/regions.
