    It's advert as $976 but u can haggle down to 790. It's a run out according to the sales.

    i may be wrong, but isn't core i5 a quad core and the difference is 4 threads on 4 cores versus 8 threads on 4 cores?

  Has anyone else been able to buy at this price?

  I checked at Rundle Mall, Adelaide and the sales rep said it was a Boxing Day sale only, and that lowest he was willing to offer was $990.

  Anybody been more lucky? :(

    Heheh he's bluffing. I got the 790 quote before xmas. But got hyped in boxing day n eventually bought. Sales said it's $200 below cost but sold it anyway. After reading shoppingexpress deal i reckon this is a good deal but not the best.
