    Black is $205.83

  • White RMX also comes with white sleeved cables which normally retail for around $50-70. This is really good value.

Depends on region i think, mine was the normal cables

    • +1

Sleeved cables came with the older version, didn’t they?

      • correct. The current model uses sheathed cables which are stiff.

    • +1

the one in your link is the current model, and the same one as here.

The individually braided cables was the old revision. They don't make that model anymore.

How are PSU's more expensive than they were 10 years ago

  • Common complaint that the cables are very stiff. Can anyone comment from experience?

    • +3

It's pretty common with Corsair cables, they become easier to bend after you fiddle with them for a bit!

      • +3

These cables also yellow very slightly over time if you have a tempered glass case near a window

    • +1

Yes. It's not a deal-breaker or anything, but I found the stock cables difficult to neatly cable manage owing to how stiff they are (in particular the 24-pin ATX + 12V cables). I ended up getting the Corsair branded sleeved cable starter kit from PCCG to neaten it up.

    • +2

Yes, very stiff, definitely bendable however just need to put a bit of elbow grease into it!

Like mentioned makes cable management a little more difficult - I personally found that the full modularity of the psu made it manageable. Just plug them into psu once the cables are routed properly. And always the psu cables first, before the other cables

Worst thing about them is the piggyback PCIE cables, they look ugly af. I ran two cables to my 3080 and ended up replacing them with Coolermaster extensions because I hated the dangling connectors.

      • +1

This. The piggyback cables definitely ruin the look.

      • +1

piggyback cables are fine if your GPU is 2x 8pin. If it's 3x 8pin like mine, it's going to look ugly.

        • +1

Didn't want to risk 3080 power draw over the one cable, though it would have been okay, I'm happier with the extension cables.

          • +1

@iMagoo: They wouldn't give you cables that are unsafe to use. Buy aftermarket cables only for aesthetic reasons.

            • @lostn: Sure, but also the power supply wasn't designed when a graphics card could draw 350W. There are physical limits and that's why they include multi cables

  • I bought one from Amazon AU last night with the APP10 promo code for an extra $10 off.

  • Can this work with 4 of 3060ti?

  • How does this one compare to other 850W PSU around $200 price point?

    • this one is the best

Why would I get one of these when I can just get 5 of these https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/606044

  • +1

Black one $198.92 on eBay after using "PLUSAY12"

  • Did anyone get a screenshot when it was in stock?

  • This PSU or a Seasonic Prime Platinum 1200w SSE-1200PD that has been sitting in a cupboard unused since 2018 for $150 ?

    I got a 2080 super with 3700x

    • the seasonic
