Not quite as good as the $99 deals that have been had in the past, but the best price for 4tb I can find at the moment and lower than other deals currently posted. There is also the Seagate Backup Plus 4tb for $129 + delivery if you prefer (not sure of the difference, both are USB 3.0)

Stack with some 5% eBay cards and it’s practically $99.

      • Where do you get 5% ones? Suncorp only has 3%

      • Can you stack an afterpay code with egit card payment?

        • +3

yes. Best way as you also avoid opening an after pay account.

Wow thanks wish I'd looked at that myself. In fact it got better for me, when I logged onto ebay it offered me a $50 voucher off my next purchase if I joined Ebay Plus again. So I joined, used the voucher on this drive, and got a year of Ebay Plus with the drive for $119 delivered.

Now to see if Bing Lee lets me cancel the orginal order I made earlier today…oh well, if I end up with two 4tb portable drives I'll be okay with that.

      • Bing Lee cancelled the first order no problem, and so far Ebay hasn't seemed to have charged me for Ebay Plus…winning either way, but if I end up with Ebday Plus and a 4tb hard drive for $69 I'll be super pleased!

    • AU $149.35

  • Backup plus just has extra software.

    • Sometimes better quality head controller boards than the 'basics' version too.

  • Will these work with a raspberry pi as a NAS? They dont need any external power apart from the usb 3.0 right?

  • Not as good as 97$ Deal
    😉

  • seems to be a new model but looks like the old Backup Plus.

  • Can I take this apart and put it into my ps3 for storing backup games?

I would not try. Can't you plug it into a USB port?

Seems this is no longer available on eBay!

  • I assume these are 3.5 instead of 2.5?

Thanks OP, I just called Officeworks and they price matched it over the phone. Grabbed 2 :) @ $113.05 each Click and collect

    • Nice work!
