Still waiting for $30 cashback from my July 2020 purchase with Liquorland, despite about 5 emails to Cashrewards and a couple to Liquorland (who say that only Cashrewards can help). My wife made an identical purchase on the same day from the same browser on the same computer and she got reimbursed within a couple of weeks. I don't use an ad blocker + follow all of the Cashrewards rules for making a purchase. Beware of using these bottle shop offers - it is random if you get paid.

Time to contact Consumer Affairs about your problem.

Sounds like you have quite a history of tracking issues with multiple cashback providers. I never have issues so there has to be something in your process you're doing that's causing it.

Like clicking back, opening multiple tabs and switching between them, or perhaps closing and reopening tabs without going back through the cashback site. Something has to be killing the "session".

For example this image I've added in red lines to represent what is considered to be the "session" after clicking through from Cashrewards. As long as your mouse clicks remain in the red square when adding products to your cart and checking out, your purchase should track. If you click out of that red square to open a new tab, click the back button, click on something like the taskbar, then you may "end the session* and it will cease to track.

You should also PM tightarse and get him to sort it out for you.

what is so special about tightarse?

          He works for Cashrewards?

          • -7

@Clear: Is he aware that it's shit and rarely works properly? You'd think he'd hear about such issues here a lot, and relay it back to management so they do something about it.

            • @nuttapillar: A few complaints on here is nothing compared to the thousands of successful transactions. It always works for me.

In my rep deals I often get x4 the number of votes in sales or more. People commenting and voting make up a small percentage.

            • @nuttapillar: I don't like the strong language.
I use both Cashrewards and Shopback and so far never had a single issue. I have accumulated over $1200 in Cashrewards and over $350 in Shopback so far.

        • You prefer a loose one?

Just to keep it fair, i used to have random hiccups with browser on laptop/desktop.

But since using the apps, both cashrewards and shopback, never once I had problems with cashbacks, EVEN with items already in cart, as some users advised not to do.

Did you noticed Veronica is Bot? She advised me that i was not eligible for so and so reason and I apologised and admitted saying yes your are right, "I am not eligible", she started with same questions again, date of purchase, amount, invoice number etc…( asking for info which was alreday provided on first contact.).Lol..

Looking at all your posts it seems like you have a problem with using shopback and cashrewards every single time.

Anyway, happy to give a you tutorial on using cashrewards, been using it for over a year, only 1 issue ever which was resolved promptly with an email.

    • My wife made an identical purchase on the same day from the same browser on the same computer and she got reimbursed within a couple of weeks.

My guess is that the "identical purchase on the same day from the same browser on the same computer" caused your account to be flagged as a potential suspicious transaction. That is, they assumed you were trying to evade the cap on the cashback by splitting the transaction across 2 accounts.

    • That's annoying. CR has been great for me. Just processed this offer and the cashback is already confirmed and listed. Just gotta wait it out now.

    • Never had an issue, have totalled over $1500 in both combined (cashback and cashrewards)
      Make sure you:
      1) Click through the cashback site
      2) do not have any local ad blocker (AdBlock)
      3) do not have any LAN ad blocker (pi-hole)
      4) don't use VPN (they may have adblocker in them)
      5) add the goods in the cart AFTER clicking through the cashback site
      6) Do not click outside, do not open new tabs/windows
      7) finish the transaction within a reasonable period

      • I've never had many problems with Cashrewards and have many thousands of dollars in my "lifetime rewards" - since 2014. For the random missed cashback claim that I have had over the years, from memory only 1 of them got knocked back (Dell) and the others they paid (some even though they said it didn't work but they honoured the cashback anyway). I think most people's problems either come from ad blockers, VPNs, or clicking on other websites (after purchase I usually wait a while before going to another website just in case it affects it - probably doesn't but doesn't hurt - if I need to browse straight after, I just open a different browser).

For me cashrewards tracks easily 95% of the time, the other 5% I've made claims and they have paid out still. I've gotten $300 into my back account from cw and their customer service has been great.

My cashback tracked immediately. If it helps, I purchased via the CR mobile app. I had no VPN or adblockers active at time of purchase.

Hopefully you get a resolution soon.

        • Have followed same process as before ( when it was tracked)..but isn't working from couple of times.Have now decided only to use CR when there is those targeted rewards..for everything else, I have SB..

  • anyone looking for a cheap mixed case of cooking wine well FCL is selling ones for $85 with free delivery works out at $70 after cashback for a dozen bottles so under $6 a bottle, perfectly drinkable

  • Lindemans bin 45 cabernet, reasonable cheap quaffing wine, ever so slightly on the sweet side but decent body for the price @ 6 for $36, works out to $58/Doz with cashback.. also Angostura bitters 200ml at $20 down from $22, a bit in soda makes a nice dry (& largely non-alcoholic) summer thirst quencher.

  • 2x Jim beam 1125ml for $95 after Cashback. Tracking email 15min after order email. Thanks op

  • Please delete my message.

  • Just clicked through, does not return to cash rewards site, so how is it tracked?

    • The short version is that when you click through Cashrewards, it takes you through an affiliate network that will generate a tracking cookie to track your purchase while you're on First Choice Liquor. Once you've made your purchase, the cookie reports to the affiliate network that a purchase was made. First Choice Liquor much later on issue commission to Cashrewards for referring you and Cashrewards then give you some of it back as cashback.

The important part is to have extensions like ad-block disabled so that cookie is not blocked. It's also important that once you click through Cashrewards you don't go clicking elsewhere like opening new tabs, going to new websites, opening other applications etc. as that could "kill the session".

  • my ad block was off

    • If Cashrewards click history show's first choice liquor then you should be good.

  • Thanks… Click history shows it is there….

    • Agh, here we go again with CR & First Choice Seems to happen to me all the time with CR and not track.

Boozebud was fine the day before and tracked however nothing tracked for this one (same PC, same browser etc). The click history is there but it's the pain one has to go through to submit a claim. One also has return 7 days later to do this and gather the paperwork.
Strange that Dan's and Boozebud always work but NEVER Firstchoice nor Liquorland for me with CR.
