To help everyone have a safe and happy New Year, travel across the whole TransLink network will be free between 9pm on New Year's Eve (31 December) until 5.30am New Year's Day 2012.

Sunshine Coast bus services are free for everyone from 26 December 2011 until 8 January 2012 (including New Year's Eve services). Jump on any Sunbus, Hinterland Connect, Maleny-Landsborough-Beerwah, Council Cab, or FlexiLink service to travel free to your New Year's celebration!

      Not that I can remember…But in saying that I haven't caught public Transport on New Years in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Brisbane….
