    Injury to someone else
    Damage to someone else’s property

I can't find anything in their pds about these two.

    • Good catch!

    • Hi mbck, I had a look around and found something in this document:

      https://s23705.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/2020-Bicyc…

      What is covered?
      • Accidental death and total disablement
      • Personal injury
      • Loss of income
      • 3rd Party Liability Coverage
(if you injure someone else or cause damage to someone else’s property).

      • Yeah that's not a pds/tnc. It's just a nice brochure.

You need the actual policy schedule. Which inadvertently, does not say anything about 3rd party liability.

    • Look at the 'Legal documents' section of this webpage: https://www.bicyclenetwork.com.au/membership/bike-riding-ins…

They have the following Liability policy

      • They have a policy schedule, which is underwritten by chubb. The one you linked is underwritten by someone else and more importantly it also does not describe the 2 issues I identified above.

        • That's because they have two different insurance policies covering the different coverage. Just as you can take out a separate building insurance policy with one insurer and a contents policy with a different insurer, or car insurance with one, and b&c with another as just a couple of other examples.

And it does refer to the coverage of both the 2 issues you referred to above.

          • @odysseus: Please post, I must've missed it.

You can copy paste the relevant wordings.

            Page 15.

            Was browsing way to quickly.

            Cheers for correction

    • Their liability policy covering those is also linked on their page.

      https://s23705.pcdn.co/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/SUA-Platin…

  • What is the medical excess?

$100 for personal injury (nil excess applies when claiming under private health insurance first)
    $1,000 for public liability

  • Does this offer apply to membership renewals or just new memberships? When I try to renew an annual membership it says the membership will expire 27/02/2022, but if you select a new annual membership it says it will expire 27/02/2023.
