  never had a problem with mine when they were $5 from HN except for the fact they arent Logitech unifying so if you lose the dongle the mouse is useless as its hard paired for life with the included dongle.

  I never even turned mine off. Just dumped it into my laptop bag and they worked weeks later.

    Yep, same here. Have one gathering dust as I misplaced the dongle. Battery lasts ages.
