  Anyone know if these can be charged and discharged at the same time eg. USB into dashcam while charging from cig light?

  Also, any thought of leaving lithium poly in car all day? I'm struggling to find a lifepo4 battery to power a dashcam.

    Usually these devices are specifically designed to cut off output power if input power is coming in i.e. they cannot be charged and discharged simultaneously.

  My question.
  Once i turn off my engine, can i attach these to the car battery so that they charge while ignition is off?
  I would like to leave it in the bonnet of the car charging.
  I know there are separate battery chargers that require power but this is not possible as i live in an apartment with a public basement carpark.

    No. It is NOT a car charger. It is only a jump starter.

    I just finished charging my car battery via smart charger. I used the projecta one and had to use a very long extension cord. Any power point in the car park?

  Bought this in the last sale, had a major service recently in my 4WD and don’t know if it was providence or just karma that I bought this just on impulse and within a week of purchase the battery would not crank. Got 5 cranks out of a single charge and still have 50% power remaining and have to say pretty impressed, just works. Have replaced the battery since. Was going to use it really as a big phone charger but it actually saved my bacon rather than having to call RACV. Not associated with the seller but just wanted to say like it or not this it any similar type of charger should always remain in the car as a backup!. Better than buying the 6 odd phone back chargers lying around that hardly get used.

  Was trying to decide whether to get one of these or their 800A one, which had a promo code bringing it down to $59.99. Looks like that's gone now and is a "Limited time deal" at $69.99.

  Shame all their packs use the same clamps with a crappy plastic hinge.
