    • I have updated the title.

We did not include delivery cost as the delivery charges change with number of cable ordered so we were not sure how to present that in the deal. But thanks for helping out.

        regards, UKIYO team

  • Are they really fast charging cables?…

    • i guess something like this will never be a fast charging, trade off between convenience and time, maybe?

    • Most phones and other devices are capable of handling 5V/2.4A. For fast charging, you're looking at something that bumps the voltage up 5V, 9V, 12V, and beyond, or increases amperage to 3A and above. Magnetic cables will always be slower than conventional cables because of the virtue of the technology used.

    • At least that's what my devices say (wrt fast charging)
      Samsung S7 Edge
      Samsung S20 Ultra
      Samsung S6 LIte tablet

i have 3 cable sets - office, car, bedside.

Be warned, this cable has "very weak magnetic coupling" strength.
The connection from phone gets disconnection at the slightest of bumps - android auto disconnects mid way and takes time to get back online - very annoying while on road and that happens when you least expect.

WARNING. Don't use magnetic cables for USB-PD, you can damage your expensive device.

Magnetic connectors can't handle disconnects properly. USB-C connectors have pins of different lengths so device can detect them being disconnected, and do things like turn the power off. They also make guarantees that the ground pins are first to connect, and last to disconnect.

Translation: magnetic charging technology is still at it's infancy. Buy and charge your phone at your own risk.

Thank you Guidelight, I was actually going to get a few but not worth damaging my phone.. I'll stick to conventional cable

    • Would this be a problem for QC3.0 charging over Micro-USB / USB-C charging as well?

      • It's probably less of an issue at lower wattages. But it's difficult to recommend anything that has a fundamental design flaw.

        • So should be ok for phone charging at none qc speeds? Ie. 1.5-2A?

          • @fufufu: There's always a risk, and it likely relies on how resilient the components in your device is. Even USB-A uses different pin lengths.

            • @guidedlight: Can you send me a link please? Would love to read about it.

              • @fufufu: I don't have a link. Let's just say I work in technology.
