BenQ EX2510 144hz HDMI 2.0 1080p IPS Monitor $299 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ Scorptec, PCCG, PLE, Centrecom & Amazon AU

150

A pretty solid budget gaming monitor sporting a 1080p resolution, 144hz refresh rate, supporting HDMI 2.0 (has 2 HDMI ports) and for its price, has quite decent speakers (most monitor speakers at the budget level are pretty bad).

If you'd prefer getting it from another retailer than Scorptec, other retailers are also selling it for the same price:

The already posted Alienware AW2521HFL is also a very good alternative (and in another time, I would've picked that over this had it been cheaper when I made my monitor purchase), some might say even better since its ~$360 and you get 240hz refresh rate instead of 144hz, but with this one, you won't have to wait as long for delivery.

      Added, thanks.

  • Awesome deal, BenQ, IPS and 144 Hz. Monitor speakers even for $1000+ monitors suck, they are only useful in a pinch. As for the retailers, I have had excellent experience with PC Case Gear, Scorptec is good too.

Also, this monitor is Freesync compatible which you can use with your AMD graphic cards. If you set the max Hz to 3 frames less, e.g. 141 Hz in the AMD control panel, you wont get any screen tearing at all with minimal input lag.

If I wanted a monitor right now within budget or as a second screen, this would be it.

Getting it from Amazon according to u/RichardL might be good but I dont know about the customer service for monitors. You get free delivery and can save $15.

  • Why not this for $50 more?

I mentioned it already. They're both good options.
