Anyone have any luck getting this price matched in Perth or elsewhere?

  • Cheers! Saw this at my local HN (Knox City, VIC) for $370 during Boxing Day sales.
Going to call up tomorrow morning to see if they'll price match.
Will post back the results sometime tomorrow.

What's suppose to be better, Motorola xoom or the asus transformer?

  • +3

Harvey Norman invoices are ridiculous, they're POS systems have got to be over 20 years old. You can barely see the characters on the invoice as it is so faint!!!!! Additionally, this makes photocopying/scanning it impossible for tax, cashbacks etc. They fade so easily aswell, so if you need to return the item for warranty purposes, you can't even see the section containing such details.

Come on Gerry, you're ripping thousands of Australians (and your franchisees) off. You can't afford to replace these hopeless machines.

    Just saying.

ON TOPIC: I think these will keep dropping as HN etc. are making way for the Transformer Prime.

wonder if that applies to medical problems.

  • Nice price, it will be even better if it includes a dock.
The previous $369 online deal included a dock too.

  • Hello guys,

Which one is better the motorola xoom 32gb for $299 or this one?
    Anyone know?

    • I don't think you can get the Xoom for $299 anymore.

The retravision deal is till 31/12/2012 so technically you should be able to pricematch them with JB hi-fi or HN.

Edit: Please note I am referring to the Motorola Xoom.

more than meets the eyes, robot in disguise.

    • Why people ask questions like this rather than using Google is beyond me.

  • CuteBirdy:
if you get the dock, you can "transform" the tablet into a netbook. And back again!

      Wow! :o so exciting

  • DOES OW have it to get 5% off too?
Personally the PRIME is the way to go!

  • OW does have Transformer

  • My local HN (Macgregor in QLD) wouldn't match the price, the manager said they're all franchise and that particular store who sold it for $328 might have a special arrangement with ASUS, anyway, they didn't do it

    • anyone in brisbane got a price match yet? I tried both xoom and this transformer and failed.

      • I got xoom fir 297 using invoice in other thread yesterday Harvey Norman Albany creek sales guy name David
        Hope that helps

Got my brother to pick one up today. Did $328 no sweat, also chucked in the dock for $112. Dock addition not really a bargain but grabbed it out of convenience.

    • Where from?

      • HN in Bondi Junction. Apologies for not being clear.
