365 Day Plan - 120GB + Ultd. Call&SMS $108/$93 w/Giftcard (Was $150) - New Customers with Unidays/Student Beans @ Catch Connect

880

My Boost 120gb/365 day plan is running out and found this little bargain stacking trick.
Per mods, the price in the title shouldn't include use of gift cards, but it's $93 out of pocket cost if you follow the steps below

Steps:
1. ~~Get a $100 gift card from the 15% off gift cards deal cost to you will be $85 here. ~~ Sold Out
2. Get a discount code from the 10% Unidays/Student beans Catch discount

The code should reduce the cost to $108, use the $100 gift card and spend an extra $8 to cover the rest.

This should work with any of their other plans if you prefer them.

Mod: Price in title should not include use of discounted gift cards

Not eligible for CB if using Unidays code. That’s my case last December.

    • $93 is still without using cashbacks which is good and the cheapest currently out there for 365 day plan

  • I think the cheaper way is go for kogan’s 14.9 for 90 days (60GB) plan before switching to catch or any other plans

    • but wont the catch 365 plan will expire if we dont activate within some number of days

"You must activate your chosen prepaid plan on catchconnect.com.au within 30 days of purchase or by the date advertised on the promotion (whichever is earlier). "

They say that but I've activated 2 months down the track.

    • I live near Caulfield in VIC and have ported back and forth 10 times between Catch and Kogan. I'm very sure catch has much better reception and coverage in inner suburbs and outer suburbs.

    I got this message:
We're sorry, this promotion is sold out 15% off Catch Gift Cards.

    • dammit, thought for too long!

    any internationa call?

  • im 9 months into a catch contract atm and nope, no thanks. i want a vodafone reseller, optus is shit (for my area).

    • what area?

      hows optus in melbourne now?

and does catch have an app to monitor data usage / recharge etc?

      • Catch does have a mobile app (for ios at least) that tracks your data usage and you can recharge, see your call history etc.. Solid basic app. I've only just recently started using Catch and I use it specifically for my work phone since it's cheap so not much knowledge on how reliable it is yet.

  • Reception is really bad in SA

    • +7

Did you hear the one about the two antennas that got married? I heard the reception was excellent.

    • SA is huge, where exactly? City? Suburbs 40min out? Towns 4h out?

      • I live in metro. So basically where every i go into malls supermarkets. I got no reception at all. Even won't work with the QR scanning thru my sa gov.i have to do the paper form

Sadly got the previous deal and transferred my number from Boost, regret it as network sucks in most places I visit across Sydney and central Coast.
    I'll hop off soon

  • How’s reception in western Melbourne ? TIA

  • I don't know if I should pull the trigger on this one, sounds like the reception sucks ass from what most people say
