I followed this link (expired, and higher clock memory) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/605919 and saw some lower clock speed memory was on special.

There is quite a few pairs, but many are less than 5 in stock, so won't post them.

  I have tried 4 Patriot kits now. They all were rated between 3200 and 3600, and all had Samsung A-Die. They all ran very poorly, and required significant tuning to be remotely stable, as XMP just crashed out my Ryzen system. Would avoid.

    What do you mean by ran poorly? Which Ryzen and MB were you using? I'm considering these for a 5900x + X570 Tomahawk build as the pricepoint is attractive. I don't plan on doing any overclocking

      "Poorly" as in "XMP Profiles weren't stable" poorly.

      I tested on an X570 Platform with Zen+ and Zen2 chips.
