They look like the same as these at $70 direct from Sennheiser AU?

$69.95 on the official sennheiser eBay store

  • I think you guys are right, only difference seems to be the "special edition" colour

    Even cheaper here - $47.26

    Could they be fake?

I think they are liquidating stock

    • This one doesn't seem to come with a warranty while the official store offers a two year warranty

  • Any feedback on this fellas? My B&0 E8 is on its last legs, will this be a worthy replacement? Thanks.

I got these a month ago, went form using taotronic over ear notice cancelling and a cheapo sports blue tooth set.

These are amazing- great sound quality, bass etc and comfy I rate them. Alot of people complain about battery life 5-6 hours not really an issue for myself when I use them for an hour or so a day.

      • Thanks for the reply mate. I need a wireless earphones since I use them mainly while at work.

The ones at eBay seem to be a better deal then, that is if its the same model.

Also gotta chase the warranty for my E8s if I can.

just be careful getting them on ebay. Fake Sennheisers are extremely common (Along with a lot of other audio gear unfortunately). Make sure you really trust the seller. They may be legit, but if something is too good to be true, that might be because it is. While this listing may very well be legit, I dunno if I would personally risk it when they are still quite cheap on Sennheisers own store.

      • Have you tried gaming with them? Advertised as being Aptx Low Latency, so wondering if the lag is actually decent. Playing with a Razer Kishi gives me no audio outputs so stuck with Bluetooth and the lag is.. distracting to say the least.

        • I haven't mate- I noticed alot of extra sounds compared to the previous 2x headphones ive used. (Footsteps, cars driving by etc I never noticed watching the same series previously on Netflix)

    • They sound great, but the cables are quite soft. If you're rough on cables (eg. I sometimes sleep with headphones in), they might not last forever.

      • Thanks as well to you.

      • Are they comfy to sleep in?

        • Surprisingly, yeah. I used the wired version, but it's basically the same those respects.

Disclaimer that everyone's heads are different.

On a related note I recently picked up one of these for $69 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SONY-Wireless-Noise-Cancelling-I… - and certainly pleasantly surprised by the audio quality.

Also available in Black - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SONY-Wireless-Noise-Cancelling-I… and Silver - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SONY-Wireless-Noise-Cancelling-I…

nice one. These were RRP $300 at one stage

  • I don't like how they have two bulky bits on them.

  • Looking for one with a mute button. Seems to be a rare feature.

  • I bought these for $70 a couple of months ago. Sound is great, but bulky bits on the cord are too heavy and keep falling out when moving around. No way I could run with them. That being said, I have big ears and often have issues finding buds that stay in. Still happy with the purchase.

    • Second this. Sound and quality are great, but the bulky bits that hang down from your ears are not ideal.

Won’t be an issue if you are just going to be using them to sit at a desk. But not great for general walking (they tend to bounce around and hang in the way), and couldn’t see them being used on runs either!

  • How do these compare to chifi like T2, KZ ZSX, etc?
