I have these and are honestly fantastic for the money, fanhub does feel abit cheap but hasn't given me any grief as of yet.
JayzTwoCents also did a video on them/similar model and they seem to be the best value for money fans you can really get right now.

yeah cheap noisy fans are still cheap - does the rgb make them less noisy?

I have these and are honestly fantastic for the money,

So would you consider yourself a fan ?

  • These will not work with the RGB connector on your motherboard correct?

    • -1

ssshh you are killing the advert

      • It seems to work with MSI boards or am I missing something?

    • These use standard 3-pin ARGB connectors.

    • yes this model will work.

the other models 5 pack have there own hub and custom 6 pin plugs. As far as i know they would not be compatible with any standardized plug on the market at the moment. That said the hub can accommodate 10 fans at a time and i think you can sync multiple controllers if you need too so you should be fine to just use that setup.

    • They have to or you won't get any lights. The hub is so you can connect all 5 of them. M/Bs normally have one RGB header, so all the lights need to be daisy chained.

I have these and would avoid them. They look great and are a good price but they don't move a whole lot of air. Pretty poor performance imho.

Max 35.8CFM - agreed, very low - for reference, better fans can go 60CFM

      • Well it's better than no fans :)

    • -7

why do you need a fan to move a lot of air if it looks good and its cheap? this is ozbargain not ozbrains - lambsbrains welcome of course cause they're free!

        This is OzBargain, not OzStupid.

nope its ozbargain - not ozbrains - way to many deliberately false statements made these days - its like the rapehouse

  • This or the Arctic 120mm for an exhaust fan?

    • +1

Arctic, if you dont care for RGB

      • +2

Artic is quieter and faster rpm?

        • +1

Arctic P12s are a great performing fan. They are the closest peforming fan to the Noctua NF-A12x25, but less than half the cost.

    • Arctic all day, these fans are the definition of looks can be deceiving.

      • -3

Lies. Set the RGB to blue and they'll cool better than the P12's. Be careful not to set the RGB to red, it'll make your computer go faster, but you might overheat your entire system!

  • So many fans for so little money. And RGB fans at that. You can't expect too much out of them for that price. Less than $10 a fan with colours.

You can't even buy a single Noctua (with no RGB or LEDs of any sort) for this money.

    • I agree they may be rubbish but they're cheap. the fact that arctics used to be that cheap is irrelevant now

  • How loud are thoose fans?
