is the owner australian? (since he care about b28)

      • +4

Not with that accent. New Zealand.

Lives in Spain or Barcelona I recall. B28 is in a lot more countries now, particularly South America.

Almost bang on, he’s in Denia, Spain. Beautiful place that he shows off in lots of his reviews!

  • Thanks OP i'm ready to pull the trigger on this. Any last minute suggestions?

same so tempted. i bought galaxy s5e a while ago, not using it much so sold it on ebay (still get $400+ from it) but this is half of that …….

i always think i need a tablet but most of the time keep reaching out to my mobile ……

      • +2

No HD for Netflix, Prime and most other pay-for streaming services.

Standard Def only (yes actual Standard Def).

        • i dont have any streaming services not even spotify (except youtube india family sharing with other member)

        • Yeah i dont think I'm going to watch stuff on here, more like reading, google home automation and maybe for the kids to play and watch on (dont think they care much for HD vs SD)

          • @pepper84: oh i forgot after sold my galaxy tab actually i got this chromecast with google home so now just grab the remote and watch youtube off my tv….
less reason again to get tablet….. no wonder tablet market is dead

but still tempted to get this cheap $200, specs are good

    • No cellular :(

  • They need to make an 8 inch version.

10 inch is so awkward to hold in bed.

    Especially lazily with one hand.

    • Yeah 8 inch with similar resolution for higher ppi

    • +5

Most people would be happy for a with a 10 inch in bed, even if it was a little awkward at times.

      • That's what she says

      • I can't handle that size it's too big for me.

My hands hurt if the size is too big or the weight is too heavy.

You can feel it after an hour or so of holding it up.

And we don't have cheap maneuverable tablet stands yet just simple height one not ones you can really adjust for beside viewing they might have them in the hospitals for some really sick patients with poor eye sight but in the public light I was not able to find a good totally adjustable one.

Missed business opportunity as its covid times and everyone is on their tablets now if they can't fit a TV in their room.

          • @CyberMurning: Not the same needs to be a bit more higher and elevated which only a stand can do with adjustable swinging arm.

Thanks for the recommendation though I appreciate it.

I thought of your solution as well unfortunately it's awkward to crane your neck and rest a tablet on your chest.

Standalone holder is best that can kind of swing in kind of like the pixar mascot :)

    • Give this a whirl. Pretty happy with it. Is a little bit short, but I clip it to the headboard and get by.

Is the Alldocube better than the Telcast?

    • Looks like Alldocube has a laminate display. I think that’s supposed to be better. But Teclast might be better processor?

    • 5 secs and I can see Aldo has many better specs

  • How regular are the security or UI updates on these things? Always wanted to get one because of the value for money.

    • Don't expect any regular updates from them. They've released a few OTA to fix bugs in the ROM but that's about as far it goes.
