    If you are looking for a truly budget option then yes I don't see why not. I bought this cooler for my dad's PC I built him. His CPU is an i7 10700F and it does ok, just don't stress test it with the auto boost function on it got dangerously hot. Luckily your 3600 doesn't have auto boost. Will be a good budget option for you I would think.
