I have one of these and they're amazing for the price.

That's what I was going to say!

  • +3

Target stores have them but $49 free shipping though

    • Wouldn't Target allow a price match?

  • Good deal but for me I realised I have two or three speakers sitting in drawers never being used these days. Never remember to pack them when leaving the house as the speaker on my phone seems good enough.

      I'll give you tree fiddy

    • The speaker…. On your phone???

Bought one ages ago and for the size the sound is incredible. I wonder if the xb13 will be out soon?

  • I have bought a xb10 ages ago and try to buy another one to make them a stereo pair. Find xb10 has much higher price online - $200 or more. Anyone knows why?

  • Is there an API to check Officeworks stock?

    • Can you upload the receipt plz?

  • Cheers got one.

How do these compare to the JBL GO 2?

Use the JBL in the shower and was wondering if this could replace it.

    • +1

From the reviews, it looks like these are more boom boom drop the bass than the JBL GO. So if you're into dooft dooft, the Sony ones are probably better. I think the clarity is better on the JBL personally, but still opted for these for the bass.

      • Slight thread hijack. The JBL go is $29 at selected bing Lee stores. Not as cheap as the $20 each before that but still decent price drop specially if you can get OW price beat.

  • $48 at Harvey Norman if you can't find stock.

    • But this is $39…

      • +7

It's $39 only if you can find stock. If you can't, see my comment above.

  • +3

Got it from Target with free delivery.

  • horrible stock levels but thank you OP!

  • Thanks OP, got the last one from fountain gate, didn't realised it was so small until I am at the counter asking for my reservation, anyway, the build looks great… Will try it at home soon

Will this fit into a bike drink bottle cage?

    • +3

      Please no lol

    • +1

No but at least it will fit on the train so you should still be able to annoy the shit out of other people.

  • How is the sound compared to the wonderboom?

  • $49 at jb, $49 at target

    • would they price beat/match?

  • -4

woohooo 8 dollars cheaper than usual, what a bargain

    • +7

Thanks for posting much better bargains.

          I don't think you missed one ;)

    • It's usually around $70-80. It's on clearance everywhere.

Good price on an absolute garbage speaker.
I bought one last time on sale, it reduces the volume significantly when under 50% battery. Can't charge and have on more than 50% volume simultaneously, battery life is useless, save your money, spend double and get a UE Boom

    • Why list charging as a negative for the jbl in a comparison when the boom doesn't even have that option?

  • Grabbed a red one from Richmond VIC. Looks like there may still have been some green/black there but I would call before going down because it took the guy at the counter a while to find the one I bought.

  • Thanks OP just picked one up. Sounds good especially when you suspend the speaker in mid-air using the strap which cleans up any bass distortion.

  • According to Officeworks website there is limited stock of red ones still left at Elizabeth. I cbf driving that far.

  • $49 @Catch (supplied by Target with free shipping), handy for those who picked up discounted Catch GC
    - Grey: https://www.catch.com.au/product/sony-xb12-extra-bass-portab…
    - Red: https://www.catch.com.au/product/sony-xb12-extra-bass-portab…

  • What scammer website this is. And on both links it says that "5 units have been sold in last 24 hours". Haha what a joke.
