I have had this for a while now, pumping up bike tyres, balls ect.. and it's great.
Took it with me on a recent country holiday, and found when I woke up I had a flat tyre.
Being in the country and and having one of those stupid undersized "spare" tyres, chose to use this to re-inflate the flat and see if would stay up, as I could not find any damage.

I avoiding changing the tyre and was able to re-inflate and drive to a tyre place 1 hour away. So I take it with me on any long drive.

    Cons:
    - Need to regularly charge as it doesn't seem to hold charge
    - Rubber connector, is appearing to show cracks (drying out)
    - Powerful but rather slow (has auto stop, so not like you need to sit and hold it)

  • Can this used for blowing inflatable pool ?

You'd need a high volume, low pressure pump for that. Look at flextailgear mp2020.

    • I am looking for something universal too - tyres as well as inflatable boat. Would this be ok to use?

      • +2

No! There are a few combo pumps that support both low volume/high pressure and high volume/low pressure. You need the latter for a boat and both for inflatable sups, etc… Tyres require high pressure. Black and decker had a product, ryobi and ozito also have combo pump products.

        • thank you mate, got it now, cheers :)

Seems to be about the usual price on Aliexpress for it. I've had mine for a while, lives under the seat of the motorbike and is usually quick enough to top up the tyres for a ride without me waiting around.

My main pet peeve is there's no battery level indicator on the screen, so never sure when it'll conk out (and given I might want to use it to pump up from flat, that's not ideal)

    • Can you hook up a usb charger under the seat to automatically top it up on every trip?

      • Yeah I'll probably get around to doing that. I was just going to start using a tank bag a bit more and charge it from front outlets.

    • I think there is a light indicator that goes amber when the charge is low. Yeah they could have done better since it has a nice digital display.

  • By the look of the photo of this product, I keep on thinking it's a digital lock.

  • i had a similar one (not mi). inflate push bike tyres are good (quick) but disappointing when inflating pool toy and car tyre. not a smart buy.

  • I bought this one a few days ago. Just tried on the car/suv/bikes. Works well. It takes a while to pump the suv tyres.

For those who cares about the weight, it weighs 438g. It does a decent job charging car/suv/bike. It takes a while to pump the suv tyres for 35psi (not sure if it's too high?).

I really like the digital display and auto-cutoff feature. Easy for me to inflate the tyres on my bikes and car to the right pressure.

    • It takes a while to pump the suv tyres for 35psi (not sure if it's too high?).

      From what psi to 35?

Even cheaper on ebay - You can purchase via the app to get another $5 off (PAPP5)

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Mi-Portable-Air-Pump-Digi…

    • That’s excellent, thanks for posting.

  • Even cheaper here (from previous deal, but now in stock) $42.99 express delivery.

  • I bought one on AliExpress for $39 took about 4-5 months to actually receive it. I bought it because my kids were growing up and balls and stuff needed to be inflated and I wanted the easy road. Overall its pretty good and saved my cheeks.

Not sure if its an issue with the product but the energy seems to dissipate (i.e i charge it and leave thinking I will have some juice when I need to use it again, and when I do its flat and I need to charge it before using it). This is really annoying with the demands from the kids.

But I've noticed that there seems to be new model on AliExpress that has a USB C as the input / light / better screen etc… but AliExpress seems to be always out of stock.

But I do vouch for this product for pumping up kids bike tires, balls, etc… haven't pumped up a car or anything.

  • How does this go as far as pumping up basketballs, footballs, and inflatable pool toys? That'd really be all I want it for.
