      Black has an age statement (12 years) where as Double black does not, Double black was introduced as an extension of a limited release they put out for a "more smokey" Black label.

      So if you enjoy the smokey flavour, then you might prefer Double black, but Black is inherently a superior product.

      (All of this to be taken in a vacuum where JW is even considered a good product to begin with.)

        I think at 40 simoleons it’s not a BAD prospect. For a little more I personally prefer Bundy spiced rum which is nice neat or mixed too.

      When I checked last night it was sold out at $40 price. When I checked this afternoon there were 2 in stock so I bought them. Suggest to periodically check as they may restock again during the deal period.
