Well I've learnt something new today - Didn't even know magnetic cables existed.
This product totally defeats the purpose of using magnetic plugs and cables.
Thing is, this is NOT the cables. It’s just a storage. I’ll pass.

do people usually leave the plugs permanently in their phone? how does it fare day to day, does the plug get hooked onto clothing and go walkies? does water seep into the connection if phone gets wet?
Actually it protects from dust and water splashes and especially wear from unplugging and plugging,
Its a round plug, so it does not catch onto anything, as a matter of fact it gives a slight holding grip
but this is just the case for the plugs
My kids have to remove them at school from their ipads from time to time
