Just searching Legal E Bikes and came accross this.

The VALK Coastline Electric Tricycle is a smart and safe option for commuting, shopping and recreation. Its stable design makes it easy for anyone to ride, and the soft ergonomic handlebars and wide comfy saddle with backrest ensure a comfortable journey. So, now you can reduce your carbon footprint and spend your money on more exciting things than petrol or public transport fares!

So Smooth

With adjustable front suspension and 24” tyres you’ll roll comfortably over bumps. Shimano 7-speed SIS-Index gearing ensures the gears smoothly click into place.

So Simple

Control of the Coastline electric bike is intentionally simple, and the control panel displays the power assistance mode you have selected as well as the battery charge level. The battery itself is secured safely with a supplied set of keys, and is easily removable for convenient charging inside your home or workplace. The Valk also has easy quick release lever adjustments of seat height and handlebar angle.

Go Further

The Coastline has a 6061 Alloy frame that is highly rust resistant and keeps the weight to a minimum. And, with a brushless motor powered by a large 10Ah capacity battery, a range of up to 70km can be achieved!

Safety is Paramount

Negotiating traffic on the Coastline e-bike is much easier thanks to rear view mirrors and the horn. No less than three disc brakes provide all the smooth stopping power you could ever need! For riding in darker conditions there is an ultra-bright LED headlamp and tail light, and reflectors on the wheels, pedals and rear of the bike, as per Australian regulations.

Everything you need

The Coastline electric bike has a generously sized metal cargo basket for carrying items like your groceries. Each wheel has a mudguard to keep you clean, and that’s not all, the Valk e-Tricycle even comes with a Bonus Pack containing a bunch of handy accessories.

Can I fit more seats for the ladies I pick up along the way?

  • +2

I'd say that try the tricycle before you buy it. They're a bit different to bicycles because you can't lean in corners so they're unstable when you try take a corner at speed.

    • This seems more like a utility tool than a go fast bike.

It looks uncomfortable. The pedals are right below the saddle so you have to be very upright. With the back rest it would stop you from sitting back a bit and having your feet a little in front of you (sort of lounging position) and instead be bolt upright. You would end up leaning your weight on the handlebars and get a sore back. The back rest looks like it would feel like you're getting pushed off your seat and you'd have to push back on it to stay on. I don't know if anyone can picture what I'm saying

    • +4

Agreed. You don't have to imagine, a photographic proof is supplied on the web page.

        Ugh that looks horrible

      • This looks perfect for travelling to Farmers’ Markets.

    • You probably can swap saddle pretty easily

      • You can't change the sitting position though

  • does it have a dif or just scrub tyres when you go round corners?

    This looks very uncool IMO

    • +4

Of course it looks uncool, that’s not the point of it. Tricycles allow people with different levels of physical ability to have self powered (or electric powered in this case) mobility. Game changer for people who don’t have the capacity to ride a bike but are able to do more than sit in a wheelchair.

  • That's a funny RRP price. Can't see it listed that price anywhere. Can find it at the 'sale' price however: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/valk-electric-tricycle-e-trike-…

        You can revoke it yourself

Click on "Votes" and you can revoke your own vote. Be aware that you can't then later re-instate your vote. (Just tested.)

  • Very, very uncool to ride this I think!

  • large 10Ah capacity battery

    lol "large"

Why Walk when you can Valk?

  • what if it's broken? What if the engine is broken? how are we going to fix it? if we buy in the store, they normally have the guy to fix the bike.
