I have riden through a storm on mine. A proper hail/rain storm. No issues since. I also went though a puddle deeper than I thought (halfway up the deck).

I drained/dried out the deck afterwards and all has been good (this was over 6 months ago).

    • Interesting to know if there a major difference between the ratings IP54 and IPX4 in terms of the water "resistance"?

  • Does the buyer pay for return postage for warranty claims if it develops a fault? I'd imagine postage would be quite expensive

    • seller will pay for return postage label

  • Expired at midnight…

    • yep.. all those afterpay deals expired now

  • The seller said they had a shipment delay and offered me a Ninebot E45 instead. Did anyone else get this offer? If so, did you accept it?

    • +1

If I get offered the Segway I will take it. I like the tires on the E45

      • Thank you for the reply. it's hard to find many opinions on the E45. I accepted it anyway. :)

        • I hope I get offered the same deal.

    • +1

I also got offered that deal and accepted.

      Fingers crossed :)

      • Did you purchase at the start or towards the end of the deal?

  • I got offered the E45 deal. Think i prefer the Pro 2 so knocked back the offer.

    • Same.. stayed with the Xiaomi. Don't like the way the Segway battery is mounted, would make it more top heavy, if it was an upgrade to a Segway G30 pro I would've snapped it up, lol..

      • Yeah I was a bit worried about that… Oh well, YOLO!

      • Apparently ninebot is a startup xiaomi created. So i see it as like a base model sort of thing, and the xiaomi is the higher end one.

        • Ninebot max is one-up from the Xiaomi Pro 2 - believe all scooters are made by ninebot as there are references to it on the Xiaomi box.

So much for the delay, Scooter arrived 2day! :)

Hopefully I haven't been sent a Ninebot instead, answered 'No' to the email..

I'll update in cpl hrs when I get home..

    • Hey this is good news, I haven't heard anything about tracking. Do you mind me asking what state you're in and if you're metro or regional?

      • +1

No tracking for me either and no offer email. I am in WA.

    • +2

Yeah I got an update mines been shipped.

I don’t know if there really was a shortage or delay on the xiaomi. Maybe the just wanted to clear some ninebot stock

      • Cannot be a shortage issue because it is still in stock on their eBay page.

    • +1

Just got home, it's the Xiaomi pro 2..

Unboxing it now, then to reflash it ,lol..

      Sydney, NSW btw..

had a play around for an hr or so on it, awesome scooter (maybe biased as it's my first!).

Wasn't enjoying the 25k speed limit, thus decided to flash the 'Sport P/P' F/W link here in my earlier comment, made a significant difference to performance, cracked over 32k's on a downhill run & 20k's coming back up, fairly steep hill + I'm over 110kg, so it did better than i expected..

  • Anybody else waiting for shipping? It has been 9 days and counting for me since I purchased.

    • I would maybe contact them. I received my E45 yesterday evening

      • Just messaged them and they said mine should ship on the 6th of April. Will be lucky to get it before mid April

        • I got the same message. They said their ship date was on or before the 6th of April. I'm in metro Sydney

        • i have got the same script reply too.
I thought delivery date mean the date we get the goods NOT when they sent it. CMIIW

    • have you got any update yet?

      • Mine has just shipped but no tracking number provided.

        • hopefully we can receive it by next week.
I just worry that they are not willing to sell it for that low price since the demand is high.

        • have you received it? I have not

          • @yah00: Mine is still tracking. It is in Minchinbury NSW. I am in WA. I might get it early next week.

            • @jamba: I am in WA too, Just received it :)

  • Got my Ninebot E45 but there are several air bubbles underneath the foot pad. Anyone else facing this issue?

Contacted the seller and they said “ It is because of the hot weather, the rubber got kind of shrunk and there's hot air inside.” That doesn’t make sense to me as it’s max 20 degrees here and the scooter is already like that out of box.

    • Sorry to hear that man. Just checked mine and it looks ok to me

      • Thanks for your info mate. Will request for exchange or refund.

        • Hello again, I've been riding my E45 every day and have clocked about 30km on it now and noticed today that I have bubbles forming too. Just curious as to what your outcome was with the seller?

          • @drakarn_123: Hi mate, sorry for the late reply.
I sent the scooter back but they said Segway is still assessing the fault. I’ll update you when I get a reply from them.

          • @drakarn_123: I wonder anyone else with E45 experiencing the issue. Maybe a design flaw with the foot pad?

  • Can anyone with a Xiaomi Pro 2 comment on how it goes up inclines? I'm happy with the E45 generally, but going up inclines it can bog down to 15km/h and with really steep hills it can't do it keeps slowing down til it stops. I'm 70kg for reference. Not sure if the motor is overheating and throttling the power or if I'm just asking too much of it.
