Same pricing on the Dreame's a few weeks ago
Hoping for the V11 to come down closer to that $300 mark before I pull the trigger.

And for the new carpet head to be available.

      • +2

That's what I'm waiting for too

        • yeah I have the dreame - need the carpet head too!

          • @Bisah1342: whats this new carpet head that you're referring to. Do you have a link? And how is that better than the one provided as standard?

            • +1

@ichimoku: standard one isn't the best for carpets imo….
if you google dreame carpet head, it looks like the other stick vacuum's and their heads - bristled etc.

Seems to be good for carpets, and good for tiles. the regular head has a sponge like shape.

  • hmm that xiaomi monitor… lowest ever? nope this is the lowest https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/610893
….. but then many agreed the kogan is better (newer panel).

  • Bought V10 from Ebay after signing up to ebayplus trial and paid with gift cards (bought 2 years with 10% discount).

Tempted to buy the V11 but then can't use the gift cards.

  • +2

Cheers, that's a good price on the Xiaomi Mi Scooter Pro 2, bought one.

    • I'm thinking about buying a scooter… for this price point, is this the best one?

      • +2

I've been looking now for around two weeks at scooters. From what I can tell for this price point it offers the best range (up to 45k) reasonable build quality, and seems to have positive reviews. There does seem to be an issue with flat tyres that I have a solution for (goop) I have not owned one before, and only have experience on rental scooters. I was also looking at the legalities of riding them. Seems to be perfectly fine to ride in my state, QLD, and also ACT. From my research they are not allowed to be ridden in public areas in other sates

Queensland Riders should wear helmets. Children under 12 cannot ride, and riders up to 16 must be supervised by an adult. Riders must give way to pedestrians. Speed limit to 25km/h

ACT A maximum speed of 15 km/h on footpaths, up to 25 km/h in all other permitted locations. Users must wear a helmet. Slow down to 10 km/h when going across a crossing and give way to pedestrians.

        • Thanks for this. Shame about Vic laws. I guess those who I see zooming around on their scooters are slowing down or hiding when authorities are watching…

    • you can ride it outside?

  • Did anyone else's Gearbite delivery get automatically carded by Auspost? Usually don't have this problem but the my recent first purchase from them had to be collected from the post office.

  • +2

    No yeelight light bulbs? :(

  • +2

The Dreame T20 ends up being $509.15
Quickly looking through OZB history, it looks like thats the best price its ever been!?

    • It's was $340 or so when it launched. Brush head seems to have issues though on the t20

    • +3

I bought the T20 for $539 from Gearbite back in January and that was a 'good enough' price (I know, hand in my OzB card). It's been fantastic. Smashes the Dyson V8 Animal we had (obviously). Had no issues. Battery life has so far been amazing (we only really use it 1-2x/week though because we have 2 robot vacuum cleaners too), and the auto-switch when it goes from tiles to the rug/carpet is pretty seamless. Quality is very high, feels sturdy. Would recommend at the $509 price!

      • Mine gets constantly stuck on carpet because it's too strong, so I have to set it to low, do you have this problem?

  • +5

@OP, when would the carpet heads for the V11 be in?
Will you be posting these on the ebay store?

    • Was been delay.

  • Thanks OP, finally snagged a MI 34". Fantastic price.

  • I sort of liked their previous white designs. I hate it when companies shamelessly copy superficial attributes of a competitor. They didn’t just stop at copying colour schemes but went as far as using the same font face?? Why ? they already had a decent product. Why ruin it by making it look like a knockoff?

  • Still waiting on my order for the vacuum from a previous deal, been sitting at Auspost for ages for some reason.

    • +1

Can i have your order no, i will happy to check for you.

      • I sent a message before to the ebay account, but I'll dm you :)

  • Is the v11 really that much better? same rated power and only 10 more inhalation power

    • OLED Display and seems that the battery life is a lot better.

  • Wonder if they would get in these mop heads, I was considering changing to a LG A9 for it

    https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1005001593203506.html?_randl_c…

  • That dashcam would have been nice, I don't think it can handle our Aussie heat though, seems to only have an operating temp of upto 60c.

  • Was hoping for the Air Purifier 3H.

    • +1

Air Purifier 3H should be available for $187 Delivered here?

      • Thank doweyy, dunno how i missed that… cheaper at Kogan though.

        • It says pre-order for 3H in Gearbite, so I bought Pro purifier for $199 from Kogan, the 3H is $169 from Kogan too.

The filter is $29 each in Kogan, seems quite cheap if they are geniune.

is it worth pay extra $60 with V10 with upgrade heads?

    • +1

I have Dreame V9 combo for around 9 months, Dyson V10 (only carpet head) for around 16 months. Normal daily task, Dreame V9 combo sucktion power is enough (i only use medium power almost all the time), as long as you use the right head for the jobs. But still more power is always better for a vacuum. Didn’t time the battery on Dreame V9 but estimated 25-30mins on medium. I will probably spend extra $59 for the Dreame V10 combo if budget allowed, but the V9 should probably enough for most people.

Using the right head is very important
      Solfroller head score:
      Hard floor:100%
      Carpet: 40%

      Carpet head score:
      Hard Floor: 70%
      Carpet: 100%

Get carpet head if you need to deep vacuum your carpet.

That just my opinion and experience.

      • Addition to above,
Dyson V10 has 1 area really beat Dream v9 when vacuum the mattress which 150AW (sucktion power) really need.

  • +2

Is the Dreame v9 decent with places with a lot of long hair on the floor?

  • +1

Very happy with my V11 from the last deal. Mainly use it on hard surfaces with the odd rug around the house.

  • How do these compare to the Dyson's?

    • about $500 more for dyson

      • But worth it for after sales service, warranty and replaceable parts

  • +6

V11 new pin Carpet head will be available when?

  • not sure if the monitor is local stock. When i purchased the scooter i realized it was grey stock, i was given power adaptor. I say buy from the official partners as listed on xiaomi site.

  • Is Dyson V10 the closest rival for the dreame V11 within the Dyson range? thanks

  • +1

Emptying the bin, how is it? Looks terrible from the videos

    • Emptying the bin,

That is the problem of bagless.

    • I had this problem, but after using Dyson V10 and Dreame for quite a while, I know how to clean it easy way.
      1. Always empty the bin every time after Vacumm.
      2. Always empty the bin way before it reach “Max”.
      3. Always lower your vacumm as low as possible when empty the bin.
The bin will be empty with a press or push almost every time if you follow 1 and 2.

      • Hey, how does the Dreame compare to Dyson?

        • For empty the bin? They are both pretty easy to empty if you empty it every time after vacumm and way before the dirt reaches max. (Or both may have dirt/hair stuck)

Deciding on the V11 or the T20
Looks like its really just the replaceable battery thats the only real difference.

Do I save $142? or is it worth spending it on the T20?

    • +1

T20 also has the fancy new head which I believe is better than the V11's carpet head.

Is the battery & new head worth the extra $$? That is what I'd like to know as well.

    • Also interested in if the V11 has a replaceable battery?

  • What is dead pixel policy?

    • +1

2 year warranty, you can request replacement if you have dead pixel.

      • Hi gearbite, can you please confirm if this is AU stock so the monitor comes with AU power plug 🔌

  • +3

Still rocking my Dyson V6 which is now on its last legs.

Haven’t had any experience with Xiaomi vacuums yet. How is the V10 or V11 in comparison? Our house has a combo of hard sufaces and carpets.

    • +1

Hi have Dyson v6 also Xiaomi Dreami two years ago. It's average quality product. Dyson is better because stronger suction, not as much heat. It's more comfortable to hold and less heavy. The Dreami once battery is dead not sure if you can replace but I have gotten v6 back to life just a year ago swapping to new battery. I'm also able to service the carpet accessory cleaning it myself

My dyson is still primary driver Dreami is secondary

    • I also have my Dyson V6 Motorhead going strong with original battery. Battery still lasts 15-20min. Only issue I find is the wheels on the Motorhead wear out to quick.
Wife wants to replace it cos it's loud so looking at V11 or T20 but no idea on comparisons to the Dreame

    • was owner of v6 cordfree, sold when moving houses. Purchased v9 combo for $259 last year. happy customer. I think v9 is similar to dyson v7

  • Currently have a Dyson V6 which is starting to drop in performance and battery. Just purchased the dreame T20.

  • Good price for V10
Jumped on the eBay plus deal with only 10% off

    This is batter

  • @gearbite, do you provide official warranty for the Xiaomi Scooter Pro 2 as Gearbite isn't an official reseller of Xiaomi products?

  • TBH I prefer geniune Dyson more than Xiaomi for a vaccum because if you do not get a decent working vaccum you would get hell from wife its not worth the money t o be saved…..

  • +1

So say the V11 has a bad battery, I cant swap it out with a new one?

Stuck on Dyson V7 or Dreame V11… Only thing holding me back is the removable battery. If the battery is dead I'd have to buy a new one. Probably AFTER the 2 year warranty finishes.

  • I purchased a V9 last year and it has just died. How long is warranty on these things?

  • +2

v11 linked in the table says sold out. This appears to be same thing though, and is still available. https://www.gearbite.com.au/collections/home-page-product/pr…

  • Purchased the V9 Friday delivered Monday not as quick as some products on Amazon but dam that's quick for express Auspost don't remember them being this fast with express.

    Thank you

  • thanks op, got the v11

  • @doweyy SITEWIDE15 will valid till?

    • answer my self, this weekend

  • Can anyone please help me understand the difference between these two as the Kogan for first members is $10 cheaper than Gearbite.

    https://www.gearbite.com.au/collections/cordless-vacuum/prod…
    and
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/xiaomi-dreame-v10-cordless-vacu…

  • V11 - no carpet head, cheaper but can't replace battery
T20 - no hard floor head, much more expensive but can replace battery (if you can get one)

    Such is life :(

    • did you mean the 2-in-1 flat brush?

which are you choosing? curious to know :D

      • Nothing yet. May be v10 as it can have both carpet and hard floor for $318

  • How does the V11 or T20 go with pet hair? Any issues with them getting tangled? The T20 seems the better choice for me
