    • Noooo, good thing I bought some extra ones last time

aldi's Belmont Biscuit Co. branded wafers are better if you like cheap wafers.
55 cents for 125grams and they taste better than these as well…

That is what I’d call a dangerous deal.

50c breakfast, just pour milk over contents of the sachet.

It'd make quite a heavy breakfast! One of those packets are 650 calories, I learned that the hard way after downing a few packets.

  • I also saw the espresso flavour at this price at Camp Hill QLD woolies near deli secrtion but expiry date is 24/3 so did not buy.

    • +1

Yes but the espresso flavour is foul… (IMHO).

It's a best before date… huge difference. Most products are perfectly fine after their best before date, and particularly salt or sugar heavy stuff (like sweets) typically lasts much longer

sign of the times, I read that as Quaratini wafers

You could live off these wafers for like $14/week - cheapest food for the homeless is imported wafers from Austria.

    • Nah, you could live off it for a week.

Might be harder for malnourished people.

      • If you take a look at the TV show Alone, you'd be surprised what you can live off for a week.

Damn I bought 5 on 95c last week thinking it can’t get lower than that (already onto my 4th bag). This stuff is addictive.

  • Got the vanilla ones for 45c. I say they are way better.

  • There are still loads of the Neapolitana ones at the Brickworks Woolworths in Burwood VIC. Just got two packets. Most of them are located at the end of the isle still in boxes.

  • These are available at this price since long..like 3 months in my local Woolies. You need to get in early to get some. Always these are empty in evenings.

Espresso flavour really stands out. Tasty.

  • I got two boxes of Neapolitana recently for $0.15

You know what make these taste better than ever… Grab some and put them on dry ice for 20 minutes. When you take them out, the biscuit is super-brittle and brakes away with the biggest crunch, like a old-time flake.

    • +5

yeh cause we all have dry ice at home

  • +1

They're cheap but they taste weird.. dunno, ashy or something? Like if you tried to eat very dry breadcrumbs or flour.

    • +1

Yeah, they're nice and crispy, and you must prefer chewy.

    • -1

      basically they taste sh%t

Trying to lose my 2020 weight in 2021 though I guess I'll postpone to 2022

  • there are heaps of the hazelnut flavour (best one) at the Woolworths Doncaster East Devon Plaza store.

Limited quantities of vanilla left and no espresso flavour left.
