      a lot of the time the drone gets lost… Refresh won't help you in that situation

                  @nightelves: Depends on your experience of flying and where you’re gonna fly. DJI analyses the flight log for warranty claims and I’ve seen drone pilot community always suggests getting refresh if starting new.

      A $299 drone with $59/year DJI refresh + $65/$75 replacement. Basically will cost you almost half the cost of the drone to replace it (once) in the first year.

      So is it worth it? Yes if you definitely going to crash it. Only you can answer that. I reckon at least you buy the propeller guard

      I refreshed right on the hour -> checkout -> apply coupon -> buy, possible in under 15 seconds. But there was a solid minute available. Strange thing is only 479 sold. There's also quite a few buyers with huge feedback scores (probably resellers?)

          You don't click add to cart. You click on buy it now. That will take you straight to the checkout page.

      For me, I was sitting on the promo page (Safari on Mac - probably not the best choice eh). Just before 4pm the link went live and I followed that, but no discount at that point. I refreshed a few times and eventually the discount came up just after 4pm. I copied the code, hit BIN, and then the discount was listed anyway in a check box. Checked the price, confirmed, then almost immediately got the alert from my bank saying the payment processed.

      TBH…this is the first of these 'baiting' sales I've managed to win an item in.

      Delivery by Friday I hope.

        The sale stopped at 4:01:25 and restarted at 4:03:20. I think they might have only put 450 in stock by mistake and then added the last 50 in.

    Dam somehow in my hast I got a $50 discount on the drone and not the full one… I think I pasted the code and ticked the wrong option without realising it and hit submit .. I now have a $548 drone ordered. :/

          you could have probably get it working. The code was not expired and the item is out of stock. You cancel it and on the other tab, reflash and buy it with correct voucher.

            @yfxsmike: Cancelation is buy request.. it took about 1.5 hours for the seller to do it and I got notifications of refunds via ebay.. I don't believe it would automatically at that time shown up in stock - they had the stock removed.. and I noticed that it has said something like 523 had been sold and when I did look after the refund it said 511 …. so I'm guessing a few refunds were done.

                @yfxsmike: I doubt they were that fast to cancel… more likely it was an order that had a payment fail and were returned to a sale state ( I know a guy right next to me who had his 'go through' showed as order and all but in his order page showed it was awaiting payment and his bank had held it up so it failed/ timed out.)

      I did that last time for the Airpods 2. They had the $50 voucher preloaded and it's very easy to click it when you are in a rush. They allowed me to cancel the purchase but won't help me out with the reorder at the discounted price.

        Yeah. Worth a try though , once in the past with airpods a group was fully charged and they refunded the diff…

        I will admit it was "my fault" .. I should have done a dry run on something and seen that an extra discount box would be in place.. hadn't expected it and by the time I had clicked, seen it 'apply' the discount, hit complete order and my brain caught up and read the value and seen it was not right it was too late to back out.

        Have had to cancel. Hope those that got it enjoy.

    The seller with the wipes sent mine with normal standard post, not the express service that came with eBay plus! (Location is the suburb next door, but still the seller is profitting off this lol. For $1 cant really complain).

        Obviously a deal has been made b/w the seller and eBay. Most likely the seller gets the full amount they originally charged for the product.

          i strongly doubt that seller gets full original amount, because that makes it a not deal for eBay, but i reckon it will have to do with increasing the seller's fee for having displayed their item on such a special platform and kind of almost guarantee a total sale of the thought item stock level.

          So seller probably get's less in return per item but gets more per time an item stays on ebay.

          that's what i think
