          Casein and lactose are both present in dairy, but are two different nutrients. Casein is the protein in milk, while lactose is the sugar.

          So I think it’s gonna be present no matter what :(

          Danzster as far as I and the rest of the team area aware, there is not as casein is a milk derived protein. There are plant based products with a thicker consistency, but they won't be casein protein per se.

    Tastes better than ON and bulk nutrients IMO. Surprised the banana is not liked here - tastes identical to banana nesquik to me.

    Ice coffee is also one I'd recommend.

      I'd go the coffee but has caffeine, so not suitable for all times of the day if you like a later workout sometimes.

      I guess I could have a day protein, and night protein on the go at the same time!

      Do they last equally long after being opened, Jay, given the packaging is still being improved (not always completely airtight).

        fookos, yes they should last at least two years. The protein itself is very shelf stable. So long as it's kept dry and at room temperature, it should be good.

    I just ordered 3kg from them 2 weeks ago. Seriously good product, mixes well, doesn't make me feel bloated like previous proteins. Delivery is fast, and packed efficiently. Flavours are great. Chocolate is a winner, tastes awesome with water. Choc banana is also another great flavour. Choc/coconut and choc/mint are also good but may not be for everyone. The coconut flavour is quite intense but great if you enjoy it. Vanilla stock standard is good but not as nice as the other flavours with water, but great with milk. Oh and the iced coffee flavour is like crack, so be warned. The only thing I wish they had was the coffee sample flavour as my partner wanted to try it but I was out.

So keen to try them all out! I've been very happy with my previous orders (various short-dated products, Chocolate Coconut and Chocolate Whey Protein Isolate that I got off of a friend). Chocolate Coconut wasn't mindblowing for me like it has been for some fellow OzBargainers but that's probably just an individual taste thing :D

    Nervous to order from these guys again, I ordered some products from them a while ago and the product was lumpy and tasted disgusting and their response was we can't help you… Has their customer service improved?         I also noticed the pre-workout became quite lumpy/hard within a week or two. Is there any way to combat this? It didn't effect the taste or results. More so just annoying to scoop. Other than that, I have had nothing but a fantastic experience with this business.

          Thanks for the note here. Did yours have a desiccant in it? Also if the weather is particularly humid it can speed up this process (most pre workouts will eventually clump).               @Dealr: Oooh that would be why Dealr. Definitely leave the desiccant inside as it will be needed to absorb moisture from the air that inevitably speeds up the clumping process. Just so long as you re-seal the bag with it inside, it should be fine for a long time.

    Hi, not sure if this is the place to ask but I'm new to protein shakes and all (previous I just eat chicken after strength workouts).
    Looking at your site, I'm sort of lost with all these different variations (e.g. BCAA, Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Complete Pre-Workout, etc).

    If I'm just after some protein for recovery after strength workouts 3 times a week (like using barbells with squats, bench, deadlifts, etc), nothing too intense. Which product would you recommend?

      Thanks for asking. The most common product to help facilitate recovery after a workout would be a protein powder. If you're not doing anything too intense, a protein (such as WPI) would be best.

      I wouldn't go overboard with supplements initially - focus on a good training routine and sound nutrition.

      With the other supplements:

      BCAA's can be used during your workout. You'll probably get most benefit from this if you're training at a higher intensity to help prevent muscle breakdown.

      Pre-workout will help improve performance and most have a bit of caffeine which may help increase workout intensity/focus.

      try to get the most of your protein from fresh food. if you cannot, supplement with WPC. buy WPI if you're lactose intolerant. you really don't need BCAA unless you're not eating any food that do (meat, eggs, milk etc).
      take 2-5g of creatine everyday, and just caffeine for preworkout.

      any other supplements would have no noticeable effects to most people, or at least not worth the money.

Organic Cocoa (in the chocolate flavours) is from the Netherlands and the flavouring and protein is sourced from various locations including Europe, USA and NZ. We've been hitting a number of supply issues lately so we're sourcing the protein from where we can.

      Hi knobbs, thanks for asking.

      We have a rundown of the high stim pre workout on the page with each of the key ingredients which I'd recommend reading through. However in a nutshell, the citrulline and beta-alanine are both for workout performance, Huperzine-A is a nootropic and the caffeine comes in at 350mg/serve which is on the higher side for a pre-workout. That's the main difference between our pre-workouts (as the complete is lower at 275mg/serve).

      Note that the beta-alanine is the one that gives you the tingles briefly after consumption.

      That's the quick version anyway :)

    The nutritional info says there is 26.5g of protein per serve. Does all this protein come from WPI or does some of it come from sunflower lecithin?

        Yeah it's strange, there doesn't seem to be any fields anywhere for it nor does it apply automatically

          Figured it out. There's a tick box when you go to the checkout that says "spend your points", then put in how many points you want to use and the total will reduce.
