  • Any deals on triple monitor mounts?

  • Can you make the dual stand vertical?

    • Yep car rotate it

    • +1

      different type of arm movement
and if me i wish i had bought 2 singles instead of 1 double

      • Yeah, fair enough. My plan was to see how that one went and buy another for the other monitor if it was good. Guess I will continue.

      • what issues do you have with the double?

        • +3

Having a very similar one (where the monitor arms both mount to the same point on the vertical riser tube) I can say that you may encounter the following limitations:

          1) the VESA mounts will be on the same horizontal plane - so if you have monitors with different height VESA mounts, then it may be diffcult to have the monitors exactly side by side.

          2) The way the arms articulate you may need to allow more front/back (depth) space on your desk, or between the desk and a wall as the mid-point elbow may move behind the desk - this problem is compounded if you would like the monitors to be on the same forward/backward plane and you may not be able to put the monitors edge to edge.

          3) The vertical pole tends not to be very tall and may not raise your monitor high enough. I am using a 24" monitor and it only just clears my 13" laptop's screen when it is opened on the desk.

          Hope this helps

    • I just received and assembled the H80 last night. It's different type of movement as @ChiMoty mentioned. I'm happy what I paid for.

  • anyone has used this, any comment on the built & quality?
I'm not expected them to have quality as similar to few hundreds monitors mount

    • Riding off the back of this comment. How do these compare with the North Bayo monitor arms?

    • I have the dual mount. Got it to replace an old, broken, but much more expensive, Atdec.
Completely happy with this one, I actually like it slightly more because the desk mount and pole is smaller, so my desk feels cleaner.
Of course, the Atdec could support heavier monitors, but I've got 2x 24" BenQs and no issues.

  • Is the load rating for the dual mount per arm or for the whole thing? I don’t believe 8-10Kg is enough for 2 x 32” screens.

    • +1

      Per arm, 8-10kg per arm

  • There is another for $28, they both look the same.

    • uh….not sure. It‘s all made of metal. So the quality depends on the material. Our item has the same or better quality as Vivo's monitor stand.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/VIVO-Monitor-Mount-Adjustable-Scre…

You can see the item weight on the detail page.

      HEYMIX :3.91KG
      VIVO: 3.89 kg
      Other Brand: 3.31kg.

  • Anything to support 13kg monitor?

    • +1

      Use the Force!

      • We haven't sold this yet..It will more expensive.

  • Receieved mine today for a 2x 27inch monitor (approx 8-9kg each). Im quite happy with it.

    • Tks for purchased mate

Some detail about this Dual Monitor Mount on my cheap, hollow sounding IKEA MICKE Desk mounted inside its cavity sans grommet while only filling half of the hole to leave plenty of space for cables to pass through.

Final impression first: With this desk pressed against the wall or floor skirting, and with this mount's arms outstretched, a monitor can't sit center with your chair (unless you want the monitor brought forward to be right in your face and then one is unable to confidently use the keyboard/mouse), but does overhang, offset past the side of the desk. It's not the look I was going for; not perfect. Also with my slap-dash mounting solution that I will detail some, the pole and everything leans forward (possible to remedy with more care, ingenuity, enthusiasm and motivation than I), but it has freed up room on my desk formerly occupied by monitor stands. It's alright!

I am using its desk end clamp (in reverse), thread end shoe removed so that the clamping thread end can bite into a foot long block of wood that I have only placed underside. Not saying my solution is a safe solution. To combat the slight forward lean into the cavity and concern it might eat into the topside of the desk, perhaps drop in a piece of wood (that I forgot to do) just the right size & shape to sit on top of the other wood block to compress and hug inside of the hole and provide support.

I had to replace the thread [handle] with another compatible thread with a smaller handle then use a gripping tool to tighten. Also did file some metal from & padded the bottom foot that could angle into the desk's half inch thick, albeit insubstantial, backing; that the back of the desk might bulge a little especially with any padding you add.

Note: Don't over tighten the 3 screws for the pole. I did and its end flared into base; worry that the welds could be near breaking point. No need to attempt to make those hex screws flush as you place rubber pads around the base perimeter (and you will need to reposition those a few times - suggest you add additional padding where I did not), that said, good luck getting it perfectly level - not that it matters as monitors can be angled freely.
