      I have both versions. Buttons are weirder to press, not as easy in 4th gen.

  not sure how targeted it was (so I didn't post it) but I had a email from audible to sign up and get a free 3rd gen .. so basically $16.95 (for 1 month audible + a book to listen to .. but then cancel immediately if you like)
