  • I'm confused - does this support both 5 and 2.4ghz? Do you need to provide a different ssid from your main AP to connect to this? Also what speed are the ethernet ports?

    • +2

      2.4Ghz Wireless N and probably 100Mbps Ethernet.

  • Is the repeater function stable?

    • I bought one, been using it for a few days & its 100% reliable.

  • does anyone know if this is any good?

Question on the ethernet ports - I have an existing wireless network and would like to connect wired devices to it. Can I connect the wired devices via the ethernet ports and use this to give them access to the internet / wireless network?

    • I bought one and yes you can.

Use the wlan/lan port; use chrome for setup as firefox does not seem to work; point browser to http://ap.setup as per instructions in box; use wizard to set up remote wireless connection; reboot pc.

  • If you’re not on a budget, a Mesh network will be a lot more reliable. Recently got one and definitely don’t regret it
