  • Can you make it $39 so that we can get free shipping?

Can we connect this to Tuya?

  • I have one of these and a few of the temperature sensors scattered around the and they're great. Does the job, does what I need it to do.

But I recently also saw something similar at Bunnings, the Arlec Grid connect range of products.. They also have a hub plus a bunch of sensors that can connect to it. Seems to have good app and voice assistance support. Also a little bit cheaper..

Granted, the bunnings ones are not for people that want weather station capabilities, I don't think they have those type of sensors like the Ecowitt range, but has anyone used the Grid stuff? Are they any good for someone who wants to monitor indoor temperatures in each room?

I have the Grid hub and sensor pack. It’s Bluetooth so the range isn’t as good as other options. Still running it on the grid app so haven’t seen what it is like with tuya/homeassistant integration.

If the hub is central in your house it should be able to monitor each room. Or buy more hubs.

I have this linked to five of the temperature sensors in our holiday house in Europe to monitor temps and humidity. It has been running perfectly for 18 months now. I can check temps and graphs with logged data on my phone or computer. Batteries are still going strong in the sensors.
