Good price for a well received pair of Speakers. Please note that you will need an amplifier to drive them. Enjoy!
Piano Black also available for $1245.
Free delivery over $500.
Never heard these but they get a lot of love on youtube reviews.
I bought a black pair from https://www.westcoasthifi.com.au Joondalup for $1,100 and they weren't even having a sale to my knowledge.
I should mention this was 4 weeks ago but like I said, I don't think a sale was on. They list RRP on their website so I found going in store gave me the best price.
Would have been a sale as the current price on the website is 1599. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Will keep an eye.
$780 delivered from Amazon US
Looks like it does not qualify for prime? Unless i am missing something.. it shows around $1157 aud delivered..
Oh ok. So still almost the same price.. thanks
To balance the good reviews, there is a fairly damning review at Audio Science Review.
yeah, and you can get a pair of DBR-62's for this price.
to be fair, that op was reviewing a refurb unit.
Or a pair of B&W 607 S2 for $200 less.
606 are a big improvement on 607 and a small price jump. 607 is useful when space is tight for speaker placement.
if you're a fan of Amir's work, spending the extra $200 is probably worth it:
Careful with these guys. Tip, don't buy online, physically check that they have stock b4 you pay. Check that stock is in new sealed box.
Thoughts on low cost amps ?
I got one of the Aiyima A07's that have been popular lately to give a try and its pretty nice, I doubt you could beat it for the price - comes in around $100 depending on what PSU you go for. A 70's or 80's era Sansui/JVC/Pioneer/NAD/etc for around $150 might be your next best option until you get to the $500 mark, provided its in good condition.
Around a hundred is perfect
Any idea why this speaker is so expensive compared to other? Is it Bluetooth?
active monitor vs speaker would be one point of difference for price.
